“Gladys is a true professional and is the perfect example of great customer service! We love the shutters and blinds we ordered from her, especially the custom shutters for a big arch window in our family room (see photo). We reached out to a few companies when we were searching for shutters and blinds, but Gladys was the most responsive. She also took a lot of time to explain options to us and was very patient when I changed my mind and had to add to the order. The installation crew (Jeff and Jessie) are really nice guys too!”

“This is a class act business!! I was shopping for windows coverings and found World Class Window Coverings online. While I had made several other estimate appointments, the reviews were so good for World Class that I decided to request an estimate from them too. Once Dustin made the estimate visit, I knew they were the best choice for me. The estimate appointment was done with email and scheduled in a timely manner – I loved this. Dustin was professional and helped me make the right selection for my windows. His product knowledge was impressive and I felt confident with his counsel. My install was today - Dustin and Jose installed the window coverings in no time and vacuumed up after their work was complete. The most amazing thing was that Dustin washed his hands before installing the window coverings. I purchased white sheer shading for two windows and he wanted to ensure that he didn’t get them dirty. I’ve had lots of workers and contractors at the house and that attention to detail is rare… Melisa and Dustin’s communication is outstanding. I was kept informed at all times – I did not need to follow up with them, they were pro-active with me. They are both extremely respectful and this is appreciated. Bottom line is that I am absolutely thrilled with my new window coverings. They exceed my expectations and give the two rooms a soft feel. I will do business with Dustin and Melisa again and would also highly recommend World Class Window Coverings.”

“Jolynn of Drapery Works is fabulous, and I'm so glad that I hired her to make my custom drapes-- she is very responsive in email and phone communications, and listened to my needs and my ideas for the drapes I wanted, and had the perfect fabric suggestions. On top of that, she was able to deliver the custom drapes on-time, even in spite of the holiday season. I have a big glass door in my north-facing bedroom, and after 2 freezing winters, I finally accepted that I needed drapes to insulate my room. My wool flannel tailored-pleat drapes with a color-block panel are not only the perfect colors for my room, but are also functionally excellent -- very thick, insulative black-out drapes. I couldn't be happier!”

Their well organized and vast fabric and trim sample library makes it almost unnecessary to travel to the City. The friendly and staff is always ready with pricing and product information. The showroom is clean, well organized and consistently has new samples. I continue to use Davis and Daughters as a supplier for fabric, broadloom, area rugs and furnishings.”

“I first hired Doreen from Windows and Beyond about 20 years ago when my kids were just babies. She did a wonderful job with our starter home which had very tall windows. Doreen managed to do a combination of drapery panels and Hunter Douglas products that made our home very cozy. She also made the kids room very vibrant. We didn't need to update anything when we sold our home. Doreen's approach really stuck with me because she took the time to think through our needs. I used Doreen again when we moved to our second home. The kids were older then so we did a formal living room but kept the rest of the house contemporary. Again when we sold our house the second time, it showed very well largely due to the window treatments. Of course I used Doreen again for our last move. This time I went with Doreen's recommendation to use motorization. I thought only my husband would appreciate the remote but I love it too. I dont know how much time I save not having to open and close each window shade. Of all the times I've used Doreen, she never just sell me on the same style. She always introduce the new products first and then see what my new needs are before suggesting the right products for us. That's why I'll definitely use her again!”

“Maria is excellent to work with. Her memory for my preferences and with furniture I already have is exemplary. I wanted to mix some favorite Queen Anne cherry pieces with modern, clean lines in the living/dining rooms and the result is stunning! She follows through, is prompt, and is knowledgeable about product and colors. I trust her 'eye' and everything turns out beautifully done. I am working with her on another guest bedroom. I highly recommend Maria!”

“I hired Don to install blinds on every window in my house in Oakland in 2013. I was so impressed with the high level of personal customer service and attention to detail that I hired him again when we bought a new home in Orinda in 2016. He is the epitome of professional and customer-focused. He will listen to what you want and need and take into consideration your unique home and won't try to upsell you - he'll just bring in the samples that fit your needs and is an expert on all of the products he carries. When a cord broke on one of our Oakland blinds about 9 months after installation I called him and he had the whole 7' wide blind replaced within two weeks. And when our blinds arrived much earlier than he quoted for our Orinda home, he came that day to install them himself because his installer was booked and he knew we needed them to help our young children sleep (early bedtimes and long summer days make for a tough time getting babies and toddlers to sleep). I can't recommend him highly enough.”

“Very pleased with their products and service. We replaced the window and French door treatments in our guest room. Shutters on the windows and Roman shades on the doors. They actually saved me money by recommending a different shade, while keeping the same look as the more expensive shade. Would definitely use them again.”
