Chattanooga Exterior replaced storm damaged siding on my house recently. They were professional, thorough, and always courteous. They were prompt even though the weather kept them from working. They were in contact with me constantly keeping me informed. They did an excellent job. The house looks amazing

We have just completed a total exterior renovation of our home with Chattanooga Exteriors. This included replacing all the siding, all new windows, exterior doors, adding a porch and two small brows. We have done several remodels in the past so we have some experience with the process and in choosing contractors to work on our home. We chose Chattanooga Exteriors for the knowledge, experience, quality and customer service that they provide. Zach Wilmore, Jamie Breneman and Jonathan Bailey are some of the most knowledgeable and experienced people I've ever met in the industry. They are all truly gifted not only on the construction side, but also on the design side. Make no mistake, they will do things however you want (as long as it is safe and proper), but they will also give you great suggestions to make things even more beautiful, low maintenance, more energy efficient and more durable. They were able to guide us to make the most out of the vision that we already had. Honestly our house turned out better than we had hoped thanks in large part to their suggestions. I call Zach, Jamie and Jonathan "home construction savants" because no matter what situation or question I threw at them, they always had several great suggestions for a solution. They never told us that we couldn't do something unless it wasn't safe or going to cause problems. In our experience, we've usually found a) contractors that would do exactly what they were told--which sounds good until you realize that things could have been done much better since I/you don't have the knowledge and experience to know what will work well and what won't or b) contractors that only want to do what they want to do because it's easier, cheaper, or the only thing they know how to do. Chattanooga Exteriors is the perfect blend of knowledge and guidance to take your vision and execute it to the fullest. Obviously the quality of the materials and the construction are equally important as the design. This again is where Chattanooga Exteriors shines. They have chosen only quality products to work with and they have a thorough knowledge of the products, their installation and how to use them best in each application. We replaced old brittle vinyl siding with Hardie panel and old drafty wooden double hung windows with beautiful Renewal by Andersen casement windows. Our house should be virtually maintenance free for our lifetime. Our home is special to us and we want the people working on it to take pride in their work. I can honestly say that throughout this whole experience, I always felt that Chattanooga Exteriors treated my house as they would their own. I have no concerns that anything was not done to the highest standard. I work from home so I was here every day with every crew and watched the work being completed. When we ran into issues as every house has (in our case a lot of rot around windows and doors), Chattanooga Exteriors was great about stopping the work, showing me what needed to be done to install my windows and doors correctly to avoid future problems, and getting that work done before proceeding. They will not cover up problems or potential problems and that gives me so much confidence in both their work and my home. Our rot repair delayed/slowed Chattanooga Exteriors schedule significantly, but they never tried to rush our project because of that. And if you've ever done a remodel (or well, anything in life), you know that mistakes will be made. When that happened, I rarely had time to point anything out because Zach Wilmore had already noticed it and scheduled for it to be remedied. Not too many contractors schedule an 'almost final' walkthrough to pick apart their work, schedule all the necessary remedies and then schedule another final walkthrough to make sure it's perfect. We are so pleased with how our home turned out. It's beautiful, energy efficient, low maintenance and better than ever before!

The guys were very professional and extremely helpful. They arrived on scheduled, did a wonderful job on my deck and finished on schedule. I would recommend them to anyone I know.

I heard about Chattanooga eXteriors form a home show. I felt they had quality products and good management. I felt very comfortable with Jaime and Eric. I was confident we would be getting the correct window and doors. When a problem came up, they were easy to work with and work through the issues. I felt good about the people I was working with. I would recommend them to friends and family.

It has been almost two years since Chattanooga eXteriors started our major renovation of siding our house. To this day every time we pull out of our driveway we pause and look at the house and beam with satisfaction at the 5 star job that they did. We met the salesman Jamie Breneman at the fall home show. Knowing this would be a one time major investment ($40,000+) we took our time investigating the company and the product (Hardie Board siding). We chose this product since our old cedar siding had been under attack by woodpeckers, squirrels and termites. We have not had any uninvited "guests" since then! We greatly appreciated the time Jamie spent leading up to our final decisions on color and style of boards. You do not want to rush a decision that you will live with for 15 years. It starts with a coaster size color sample. Then a visit to the showroom allowed you to view a wall of the colors in 3 board segments. Outside you could also see samples in the daylight. Finally as we had narrowed down our main color, trim color and accent color Jamie brought entire boards to our house to sit and just let us view it for a number of days. We were also able to visit a neighborhood under construction to see entire homes done in Hardie board siding. We then called some of their satisfied customers and drove past the homes on the list. We were excited when the big day finally came. First they laid down plywood so the dumpster would not mar the driveway. The project manager Zack and his teams were always professional, respectful and courteous. The work was done in the time period that was estimated. I am sure I asked Zack more questions than any other customer but he always was patient and educated me as the job progressed. We always knew what to expect next. Zack made some suggestions along the way regarding other improvements or upgrades we might want to consider while the old siding was removed. (Doing electrical changes then is cheaper then after the siding is installed.) We had a wish list of electrical changes/upgrades and Zack was able to pause our installation for these changes and arrange for the electricians. We were very happy with the extra work and contractor he recommended. Zack also recommended upgrading the material under the siding (don't remember the official name). Any time Zack made a suggestion I would check with my brother-in-law Joe who is in the building industry. Joe always gave his "seal of approval" for the recommendations that had Zack given us. When doing a job of this magnitude you should expect a few minor glitches but Chattanooga eXteriors reacted immediately to remedy the issue. We walked away feeling Chattanooga eXteriors had really earned their 5 star rating. We greatly appreciated their suggestions along the way. FYI: Before you start a project of this nature go to Ace Hardware and buy a roll of landscaping plastic and masking tape. It is like a very thick garbage bag. Cover all bedroom and bathroom windows so you never have to worry that a worker will be working around that window when it is time to jump in the shower. It was the best $20 that I spent.

I hired Chattanooga eXteriors a couple of years ago. They did a great job and completed the project on time. I have nothing but great things to say about them. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family.

They replaced Masonite siding on our house built circa 1974 and replaced the front entry door. Along the way, they also accommodated us by adding shed roofs over two entry doors on a change order. They took the time to understand our vision for how we wanted to change the house and some of the specific details that we wanted to maintain. They did excellent work and kept us well informed during the entire project. We are extremely pleased with the outcome as well as the quality and professionalism of Chattanooga Exteriors.

We are buidling a new house and wanted exterior features to enhance the presentation of the house. We met with Chattanooga eXteriors, on site. We walked through our 'wish list' throughly and found that our salesman was very knowledgeable in the scope of work we were considering. Our sales representative was very respectful, and personable. When we met again to go over the quoite, the price came in more than we had planned for. Together, with our sales representative, we looked considered the 'must haves' and proceeded to brainstorm how to alighn the project to our budget. Our primary area of focus was rocking the exterior, which is the job we contracted with Chattanooga eXteriors. During the job, the tradesman were diligent and cleaned up at the end of each days work. We gained an appreciation for the skill and experience it takes to rock the exterior and are so glad we did hire professionals. My husband is experienced in all areas of construction, in fact, he is our builder and tradesman. However, seeing the maticuouls work that goes into the rock, we are very glad we did hire it ou.t We are very impressed with the quality of workmanship we received during the entire process of hiring out this job.

We are very pleased with the quality and look of our home. We had new siding, new windows, new garage doors, and a new roof installed - a complete makeover. Was everything perfect? No - like all projects of this size and scope there were mistakes made but in every case Jamie and his team made it right. Every time there was a problem I called Jamie - he was responsive and did whatever it took to make us happy. I would hire Chattanooga Exteriors again and would recommend them for your project.

This re-siding project has been a nightmare! They have been terrible starting just after I signed my contract. I signed a contract on 7/6 and didn't hear anything from anyone for 2 weeks until I emailed them. I had less than 24 hours notice of my walkthrough, and, again, I only had that notice because I reached out to Chattanooga Exteriors. It was never scheduled, and since I didn't know anyone was coming until they were here, I was unable to be present at the walk through. As I understood it, the walkthrough was meant to ensure that we are on the same page about the work being done, which never happened, and it showed in the final product (so far.. I'm going into week 4 on a 900 sq ft house.. ridiculous). When no one showed on 8/8, I emailed them and was told that was never my start date. I forwarded them the email where I was told my start date was 8/8. I was only provided that information when I reached out to them. They never once contacted me. It only got worse from there. The first day, they tried to raise the price by $1,200 for something that I was told was included in the price, but apparently had neglected to be put in the contract. The first week, we came home every day to the electricity off, the hot water had been shut off (for 24 hours.. we were not told ahead of time we wouldn't be able to shower), the electricity again, and the cable and internet, etc. They were also repairing a hole in the roof, and they repeatedly told me that the job had been completed, They continued to argue with me that it had been done. All while I was standing in my attic looking at the hole in my roof. The first day of demo, they also broke a window. This was 3 weeks ago, there is still broken glass scattered across my yard, and I was told today that the replacement hasn't even been ordered yet. People wouldn't show up when they were supposed to, and the project manager would reply an hour after I'd call and tell me they had been there for hours when people were just pulling up. They went an entire week saying they couldn't do anything until a framer came in to fix some rot. Meanwhile a week later they start working on the window trim before the rot was even started. Clearly this could have been happening during that week, but instead it created further delays on starting the rot. They also said that the rot could not be started on the Thursday it was supposed to (after being delayed 2 days already) because it would take 'several days,' and they didn't want to leave me with it incomplete over the weekend. They came on Monday, and it took them a day and a half. It could have easily been done Thursday and Friday It is clear to me that these people are just lazy and don't care about their customers. They leave debris, nails and trash in my yard every day, in spite of the fact that my contract states that the site will be cleaned up every day. They've broken personal belongings. They even used supplies I had piled completely separately for another project I am working on. When I'm paying them $20,000 for a siding job, they are taking my supplies to do it. One hose spigot was properly reinstalled. However, instead of properly reinstalling my back hose spigot and cutting a hole in the siding, they decided just to feed it underneath the siding and leave it hanging. I was told that the trim on my front door would look as it did before, it would just be hardie board. This was not the case when I came home and saw it. It is not even close. It doesn't have nearly the detail, and it looks terrible. I also came home to find my entire foundation had been painted green to match the siding, which is completely unheard of in my area, due to the character of these old 1930's homes. I am so upset. These contractors have been completely uncommunicative, unprofessional, disrespectful. It has been a complete nightmare. I will edit my post to reflect how the final product looks, but that's due to the product (hardie board), not Chattanooga Exteriors. There are other installers of Hardie board in Chatt.
