About Us

East County Glass & Window has been in business since 1979. Current Owner, Tim Allen, took over the company from his father, Don Allen, in 1984. Unlike most kids who spent their childhood breaking windows, Tim spent his repairing them. Today his oldest son, Austin, works for the company as Office Manager. We are one of the largest authorized Simonton dealers in the East Bay Area (Simonton windows come with a lifetime warranty that is unmatched in the window industry). We also carry windows by top manufacturers in a variety of styles, colors and prices - there is something to fit every decor and budget. Choose from wood, vinyl or metal frames.

I met and interviewed at least 5-6 vendors before I decided to go with East County Glass and Window. And I'm so glad I did. Justin was my estimator and he was very nice, knowledgeable and straight-forward. I couldn't be happier with the installers. It was a 2-3 men crew depending on the day, and they were always on time and cleaned up after the day was over. I decided to go with double-pane Simonton windows and we felt the difference from day 1, and improved the home insulation significantly (installation occured during winter). I would definitely go back and hire them again.

East County Glass was great! They did all they could to make working with them a good experience. Our glass counter top piece came damages (no their fault), and they bent over backwards to make it right.

Had a very small repair job done on my house but they did a really quick and complete job. Had them replace a broken piece of glass in my house this week. Service was super fast. Glass was replaced next day and the office staff was very friendly. Highly recommend!

Ec glass just installed windows in my house last week. My wife and I were happy with professionalism and speed that the job was done with. Monica was helpful in picking out cascade windows to meet our budget. As a big DIY guy, who works in construction, I saw that their installers knew there trade. great work
