Everything from the initial consultation to the finished product was a great experience. The people were knowledgeable, friendly, and worked quickly and cleanly. We are extremely happy with our windows. They keep the cold out. They keep the heat out and are much more soundproof than our older windows.

I have bought windows, sliding glass door and a front door from them over the years. My recent purchase was the front door. Their products are great. My recent experience was coming to fix the weather strip on the door and door tightness. It was easy to call them and get my appointments setup quickly. My first appointment was the same day as the 1st phone call and it was a virtual video call for Renewal to determine who to send out and if they need to order parts first. They were able to take pictures of the door and see what my problem was. This is a real timesaver for me and ensured that my time was used efficiently. The final appointment was the repair. The repairman was friendly polite and professional. He did the repair well and doubly ensure the door was fixed before he and his coworker left for the next job. I highly recommend Renewal.

The service department does a great job and is responsive when you finally reach them. It was very difficult trying to reach the service department. The people who answer the general customer service number for Renewal By Andersen are clueless. First, they provided me the wrong number for the service department, they gave me a number that no one answered. The second time they transferred me to a service department in Tennessee when I live in the San Francisco bay area. I finally reached the service department by using an old text message from a previous service job.

The previous owners of our house had windows installed by Renewal by Andersen Bay Area, and from time to time we’ve used them for repairs. They are always prompt, courteous, reasonably priced, and great to work with. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them for a major project.

This review is for warranty service. My installation was 2 years ago and over the hot summer some of windows and patio doors develop cracks external caulking. I called Andersen and they honored the warranty and sent a technician to repair caulking within 2 weeks. Technician arrived on time, don booties, as well as mask for covid safety.

Thank you for sending Sofiane Taibi to fix my siding glass door trim. This was the third time it fill off. So he screwed it in for good. I just wished this would have been done when the door went in at the beginning of the year. Sofiane is a very professional man with a very sweet personality. Kathy Millikin

Satisfied overall. Very courteous and responsive staff. Very good quality sliding door as presented by sales rep. The only disappointment is our (new) porcelain tile was cracked by the installer when the sliding door was installed (despite us telling the salesman and installer to be careful). Andersen offered to reimburse us for the cost to fix the cracked tile. The problem is we could not find a floor company who’d take on a small project replacing the tile.

Jon came out for consultation and was very courteous and very knowledgeable not only about the windows but the geographic location in terms of weather appropriate windows as well as the building materials most commonly used for types of homes in past different decades.Although these prices are higher , I felt that his knowledge and his presentation was very thorough and appreciated his disclosure that Anderson windows pricing may be higher than most but explained the differences between other competitors. Loved the different styles offered. He was my 2nd bid that came out today but his overall knowledge and presentation was the determining factor as well as the efforts for prices and financing. I feel that in the long run, the higher pricing and quality of craftsmanship is worth the investment.

My overall experience with Anderson Renewal was positive. My screens for my patio doors arrived weeks later than the doors but they was fine. I’ve received so many complements on them without the screens. My installer (please forgive, I do not recall his name) was a lovely young man who communicated his ETA and arrived in a timely manner. He was very professional and thorough. He tried to help reinstall my security alarm sensors but they didn’t quite work with the new doors. He even adjusted/tightened the door latches and locks which were a little loose. He offered to check my other windows as well to see if they needed any adjustments. Such a pleasant person. I must say all of the staff I worked with from sales, installation were on top of their game. When the time comes for me to upgrade other windows (and when pay these off ..( haha) I’ll go with Anderson Renewal for the project.

He was clear and thorough and honest and stayed involved with our project through the installation and beyond to make sure the few issues we encountered were resolved quickly and professionally. The windows not only look fantastic they also block outside noise and remain the same temperature as our indoors no matter what the outside temperature is. Leng and John came by today to complete the window replacement project. Tiebacks were reinstalled, curtains hung, and window handles were installed to make opening and closing windows easier. They were great to work with.

From start with Tony Holland are fantastic sales rep, to engineer/design review person, Dean Petterson we were made aware that we were in good hands with professionals like with Nate Velasco overseeing installation, with Juan one of our awesome installers. to Lawrence who oversaw the stucco crew. Everything was explained in detail and we were made aware if we had any questions, no matter how small, just to ask and someone would make sure we got an answer. I got my heart's desire of a bay window installed in our front room. We went with Renewal by Andersen, because they are a well known and respected company in the industry. We knew we would be getting high quality product. We were impressed with the care the installation crew took with our home, which included drop clothes on the carpet from the front door, all the way to the window area. Installation took about 3 days to complete, and at the end of each day's work, the crew made sure to clean up the work area. This is a personal pet peeve of mine from past projects. I didn't have to say anything to the crew, this is how they do their job, thorough and yet keeping the area neat and tidy at the end of the work day. WOW! Everyone at Renewal by Andersen we spoke and interacted with, were knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. It is a class act company, who hires top professionals, who take pride in their work. I would not hesitate to recommend the company to family or friends in need of window work. I would not hesitate to contact them, if we had any future window needs. One of my new windows was incorrectly manufactured Leng Kong took one look, got the serial number off a correctly manufactured window, and got me the correct window replacement. He was professional and efficient throughout.

Mr. Leng came over to my house to fix a broken handle which kept coming loose on Saturday, November 3, 2018. He actually called and came earlier then scheduled. Upon coming here noticed the work order was not written correctly and he didn't have the part he needed. He apologized and scheduled to come by at my convenience. He came back today, Monday, November 5, 2018 and fixed the handle professionally and quickly. He was outstanding each time he came and offered to answer any additional questions I had. Anderson is: polite, respectful of your needs, timely, cooperative, and has financial institutions to assist with the finances. Their product is represented as "exceeds expectations" with a warranty to back it up. I am now exploring custom arched windows with Anderson.

The Sales and Installation staff were great. The windows look great and the installers were friendly and took their time to do a great job. The only criticism we have is that the wood trim they installed on the outside of the window is very rough, and doesn't match the surface texture of the existing wood trim, so we had to sand it before painting it to match existing trim.

The crew arrived on time and was very professional. The quality of work installation and knowledge allowed the crew to meet the deadline which was initially scheduled to take 2-3 days to complete. It only took them one (1) day. I'm very satisfied with the project outcome.

As Leng is a senior service technician, Leng was assigned to evaluate the issues. On his first visit, he was able to quickly assess what needs to be corrected. Young guy (can't remember his name) came to change the bathroom window glass from clear to privacy glass and to swap out a torn screen. He did the job quickly and efficiently and gave me some tips on how to close the new windows evenly before locking.

I purchased 10 windows including a variety of sliders and double-hung windows installed in March of 2018. The installation crew, Jesus and Mario, were very hard working and thorough. They seemed to spend a great deal of time and effort on the details of the installation process. The installation process was quite involved and took 2 very long days to complete. The windows are very well sealed against the weather and look great! Jesus and Mario took care to clean after themselves and left the home without my knowing they were here other than the existence of my nice new windows. Having looked over other reviews with issues, I am pleased to note I had no issues with the quality of the new windows or with their installation. Time will tell, but at this point I am very pleased with Renewal by Andersen of San Francisco and the decision to use them for my window replacement

Individual who came was efficient and explained the process, the estimated price, the down payment needed and an approximate time frame. Why does it need to have 2 different appointments to do the measuring. Train the first person to do it correctly the first time. This process made the ordering time for the specific windows to take longer than needed. Windows are great, this was our 3rd or 4th order for windows from Renewal by Andesen.

We received horribly painted windows - one with the wrong hardware and one with NO hardware at all. Had to have windows completely sanded and repainted and now waiting for someone to come install correctly ordered hardware. Was a huge headache trying to get all fixed and have had to schedule appointment after appointment at home to get done.

Excellent expectations and implementation were executed. The project only took two days. Every step in the process was explained. I would highly recommend this company to all family & friends

The saleman was great, no pressure to buy and made sure our needs were met. Installer were also great, they showed up on time and even finished a bit sooner than expected.

Ramiro, Lucio and Lee were the best Windows installers I've ever had. Renewal is pricey but if you can afford go for their material instead of vinyl. I've got vinyl Windows before and they are great but renewal Windows just feel much stronger. That plus their customer service and their attention to the details makes it a great deal. Ramiro noticed one little scratch and they are replacing one whole window soon. Great company. Hope their prices can go lower with more volume so I can do the rest of my Windows

David Kemery provided excellent service during our process to identify a vendor to replace the windows in our duplex. He was friendly and courteous and showed all the features of the replacement windows. He took the time to explain the Renewal by Anderson program, the windows, and what we could expect during the window installation. We could not be happier with our window replacements. RbA product manager, Tony D, was very professional, thorough, and patient. He answered all questions during his presentation and afterwards via email. I purchased 5 windows and the installation guys gave me a rundown on what they are doing to remove the old windows, install the new windows, training on operating the windows, clean up, and a walk-through on what they did. The window price is high but the windows are solid, durable, and, so far, working great. I would rate them 5 stars but their prices brought it down a notch.

An estimator came by on time who described the window product in complete details. I was actually very impressed with the presentation. The product construction is solid and craftsmanship is a plus. Unfortunately, you pay for the quality of the product and it was just too expensive for me. It is actually 3x the price of a standard dual pane windows. Their price was the deciding factor. Only if their price is close to fair, then I wont second guess about hiring them to complete the job.
