From start to finish our experience with Westcoast Windows was nothing but enjoyable. Jason was very thorough in explaining the quote he did for us and we appreciated Jason giving us his time and patience to talk through different options etc. Going to the showroom and actually seeing the quality of the windows and then being able to look down from the showroom onto the factory floor sealed the deal for us. Seeing a local product being made on the factory floor and then seeing the product in the showroom, you could feel and see the quality. As we walked around the showroom with Jason you could tell that Westcoast Windows stood behind what they believed about the quality of their products. The crew were a delight to have a round. Never before have we had such a group of professional tradesmen in our home who were dedicated to making sure they did a great job. They were amazing in the way they interacted with each other, being mindful of one another as they made sure everyone was safe etc and then talking through with clear instructions to each other what the next step was to be. We had some very large windows that were hard to get out but they did it without any mishaps. It was stressful for us as we watched them but we were impressed and reassured by the way they were calm, took their time and confidently knew what they needed to do. That was impressive to watch and hear as usually tradesmen aren’t known for speaking politely and friendly on a work site when it comes to working with each other! They also worked non stop in the cold and rain, cleaning up at the end of each day and always showed up on time. They were really professional in every way and a credit to Westcoast Windows. Having our windows replaced in the middle of winter was actually fine and as we work from home we were able to work around the crew and visa versa. The house is so much warmer now that we’ve turned down the heating. Thank you Brock ( General Manager) and to your employees for such a transformation of our house. I can't describe how happy we are with the job that the West Coast Windows team has done for us. We replaced 14 windows and a patio door this week. The entire process from start to finish was absolutely flawless. The most impressive aspect was the quality of the installation team. Each of them have been with the company for more than 10 years which speaks volume about the culture of the company. They were extremely knowledgeable, well prepared and did everything with a smile and great attitude. Our house has a complex design and for many windows the team had to work above skylights. A few years ago West Coast Windows replaced 2 sliding doors in the sun room at the rear of the house. They have preformed perfectly until recently an over zealous squirrel, determined to get in, tore one of the screens rather badly. I called West Coast Windows and asked if they could repair it. I was told "yes", and delivered the screen door to their plant. Katie, the receptionist said that she would give me a call when it was done. Two days later I picked up the door and got a pleasant surprise when I asked "How much?" The answer was "There's no charge." I have always been impressed with the quality of product and the professionalism that West Coast Windows personnel display. Needless to say I am now even more impressed.

West Coast windows were excellent from the initial sales call to the installation. Our salesman Nick Barnes helped us choose the beautiful windows and took his time to make sure we were happy with the choice and stayed within his initial quote. Last week, all my windows and sliding doors were replaced over a 2 day period. The team of installers were punctual, efficient, polite and knowledgeable. This company was referred to me by my next door neighbours, who also had their windows and doors replaced by the same company last Summer. I am totally delighted with the quality of the windows and the result of the work.

Utterly disappointed by their method of measuring. All my windows should have been measured using the rough opening size instead of by measuring the inside of the window frame. All of our windows were undersized. Had to add wood to fill in the empty space to anchor the window. The company’s response was terrible as they said it wasn’t their estimator’s fault for the measuring. Complained through the BBB but I see that it’s now been buried. Cannot see it under the Unresolved section. I will tell my friends to stay away from this company.

The sale process began with Will's estimate. He was easygoing and made the effort to see the project from our point of view. Later, we asked for additional information about products and process from Brock, Theresa and Tracy from the Delta office/showroom at various times. Their insights brought clarity about product options and made trade information that could be confusing understandable. Each person we dealt with was patient and and engaged in resolving our concerns as they arose. When we needed to finalize window trim design Will made a special home visit to help us choose the design that worked best for our project. He also set up a special Master Key lock system with Broadway Locksmiths. It was a extra work for him, but he made it work. We worried about the installation of 37 doors and windows. Tracy coordinating in the office and Mike who was in charge of installations made sure our lives were not upended. The crew was great, friendly and careful, and Mike's communication with us was prompt and clear. Not only are we happy with their windows and doors but with their professionalism. Work was completed on schedule and within budget. Our highest praise comes for the company's attitude toward follow up and special requests. A special shout out to Jay and Tracy regarding post project customer relations. They gave the same attention to these aspects of out project even after the crew had completed their work. West Coast Windows team and products have improved the quality of our daily lives and we are pleased to give them our strongest recommendation.

Our overall experience from start to finish was quite good. My only complaint was that the installers left our property (inside and out) carelessly messy with debris, nails, broken glass. The West Coast Windows team were fast and efficient and cleaned up after themselves. They replaced my dining room French doors and windows on either side, another window in the same room and a window up on the third floor. Overall I am very pleased with my new doors and windows. The only caveat was that they replaced the previous moulding on the inside of the doors with narrower moulding which they said was the standard size they always used, Now I have to do considerable repatching and painting which I did not expect.

We are really pleased with our new exterior sliding doors. Generally selecting a door was pretty painless as we knew what we wanted. Nick was great about explaining the differences and provided us with a variety of quotes on the three doors we liked. There was no pressure. The installers arrived on time, were respectful and efficient. They did a great job (and it was a tad challenging as my house is not level...so a bit of work to get the door installed perfectly. But it is perfect. The installers cleaned up everything, Super happy. Can't get over how different the room looks with nice sliding doors installed.

We had a leak in our main living room window & mould/mildew in some of the others. We were looking for a company to supply only at first and after some research decided to go with supply/install. After getting a couple of quotes from local companies who supply/install, we realized that we were paying a "middle man" and decided to go direct to a window manufacturer. We found West Coast Windows on line and their pricing and timeliness of supplying a quote based on the information/measurements that I provided was impressive. We liked the fact the windows are made LOCALLY & their warranty is GREAT! When the installers arrived with our new windows, we were faced with some issues once the original windows were removed....unfortunately we had some rot :-( (which we are still working to repair but at least the windows are in!) My husband & I, with the help/direction of the installers, worked very quickly to repair/replace the existing damaged areas before the new windows could be installed. The installers were EXTREMELY professional when faced with this adversity and did an AMAZING job working with us. At no point did they get grumpy about the fact the job was going to take a bit longer than anticipated. Shout out to installers Matt & Kyle for having such a great attitude all day! We were expecting some "extra" costs because of this window rot damage & Brock was fantastic in working out a fair price for this. Being the first in the complex to replace our windows and sliding glass door, it was important to make sure the Strata was on board. From my initial call to WCW, to Nick’s dealings with my tenants, meeting with the Strata Council, throughout the installation process, and right to the clean-up at the very end, your service couldn’t have been better. The tenant said that the installation crew was great to deal with and that as soon as they put the new upstairs windows in, he could feel the coolness disappear. We needed to replace a total of 13 windows , and we are very glad that we have hired West Coast Windows to manufacture them! We found the staff very helpful and professional. Before we've ordered, we have visited their showroom 3 times, each time with a new set of questions. They were answered in full each time and we felt that they really cared to give us all of the info we needed to make the decision! The delivery was in 2 batches, and one of them arrived with scratched frames. That probably shouldn't have happened, but... we don't live in a perfect world. The important thing for us was that they did address the issue to our satisfaction. And since our schedule has slipped because of this snag, they even arranged for a special delivery during the weekend, so our installer didn't have to be rescheduled. Pretty good I think! Overall we are very satisfied with the service and we would definitely recommend West Coast Windows!

From the first estimate to the final installation the entire process went smoothly. Nick was our sales consultant and as a former installer, he had all the information we needed to get us started. Nick was knowledgeable, personable, and NOT pushy. He was prompt to answer any questions by phone or email. He has an excellent product to sell and he sold us on it with good information and great customer service! On installation day, Jay and his crew were efficient, respectful, and tidy. When they were finished, it was like they hadn't been here at all. They swept and vacuumed the floors and blew off the roof and outdoor areas. Thanks Jay! All that we had left was our beautiful new windows. We've had lots of positive comments from friends and neighbours but I'm still amazed at how bright they look on the inside with the white trim instead of the old dark aluminum frames. I love the way the sliding windows seal tightly together when they are locked. This is a great feature. No more spiders and mildew inside the window frames! We are absolutely thrilled with our new West Coast Windows!

West Coast Windows replaced all 20+ windows in our 30 year old home. We were extremely happy with the entire process, from the on-site visit to measure the windows for the initial quote to the delivery and installation by a small but very skillful team. It took only two weeks from the order date to installation, much shorter than the four to six week time frame we had expected. The new windows look great and function well. West Coast Windows did a very fine job replacing our leaky old metal framed windows with gorgeous vinyl exterior/solid fir interior windows. In making our huge picture window in the living room even larger, they had to replace the header. With skill and tidiness, they tore out the three old windows, added the header and the new window all in a day. My only complaint is that they used a staple gun rather than a nail gun to install the wood trim. Otherwise, their work was excellent. Bonus, they cleaned up after themselves:D

West Coast Windows supplied a beautiful window. The installers were polite and efficient. On the first visit to install the windows the installers found water damage in the wall under the window and couldn't proceed. They returned the window to the warehouse, stored it and came again once the wall was repaired for no extra charge.

West Coast did all our windows over a two year period. They were up to the challenge of some of our more difficult windows. They did a bang up job and would have them back to do work in a heartbeat.

I was satisfied with my new windows despite having a little difficulty in opening the dinette window plus removing the bedroom and dinette window screens but this was accomplished with the aide of one of my neighbours.

Working with West Coast Windows has been a fantastic experience. They have recently completed 2 projects with us and we couldn't be happier with the result. One of the projects was quite complicated with multiple large rake windows and a custom exterior paint finish made to mimic wood grain. They turned out fantastic and actually had the client jumping up and down they were so happy. Knowledgeable staff and a superior product. The quality of the windows and sliding doors are far superior to windows I have installed in the past. Ordered 18 windows for my forever house and didn't want to worry about issues down the road. They come with a 25yr warranty on everything including the finish (went with black painted frames). The windows are true and square and precisely finished. The nailing flange is thinner than other windows allowing the window trim and siding to fit more precisely. I installed them myself but when I met with the sales guy (Brock) he told me about their in-house installation team. Companies I have dealt with in the past subcontract out the install and there is always a lack of communication and lack of quality control so this would have been another selling feature for me. I highly recommend West Coast for their products and staff. Brock was very knowledgeable on the products right down to frame dimensions, glass options, code requirements and other design considerations. He had quick and accurate answers to most of my questions and anything he couldn't answer on the spot was quickly addressed in an email. Thanks again.

We hired west coast windows to remove two old windows and our double door they were very professional quality of work was quite decent there was a small issue with the door but they had no problem rectifying it in a timely manner.Overall we are very happy with the products they use and the experience was good I would recommend them in the future and use them again if needed.

West Coast Windows has a great sales person, Nick, who was an installer so is very knowledgeable. The team came on the designated day, one fellow, a very experienced European chap is a great installer. One of the crew members did some sloppy work on the inside caulking and we had to get a guy back to clean it up and redo it. We had included the wooden trim pieces which we painted beforehand. On the trim the caulking on the nails was a little spotty.

We arranged with West Coast Windows to replace 5 windows in our 4 unit Mount Pleasant Heritage/Craftsman Style condo building. West Coast did an excellent job starting with the initial meeting to review our needs, completing the custom order right through to the installation. Everything was handled very professionally and the windows were completed and installed within the time frame they initially indicated. The installation was completed seamlessly within one day and the installers did an excellent job. We are very pleased with our new windows and highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for new windows.

I would not recommend West Coast to working professionals where you are not home during the day to supervise their work. They relied on us to check their work and inform them of things they had missed. Our job included replacement of 20 windows and 1 patio door in our 2800 sq ft house. They completed the work in two and half days, one of which we received record rainfall (in April 2017). They initially told us they would not replace windows during heavy rain, however they did anyways. We had over 11 deficiencies including not properly sealing the windows, not re-securing the siding, broken drywall, scraps to the window sills and exterior trim, a large dent in the kitchen flooring and sloppy interior caulking. I pre-painted all of the exterior trim which they scraped up during installation and slopped putty all over them. It took me another three full days on a ladder re-sanding and re-painting all of them. Also due to their sloppy interior caulking lines I also now have to repaint all 20 window stills. Before we hired them they told me that I would not need to paint after they were done. Perhaps more concerning was how they handled the deficiencies. After they said they had completed the job and were reluctant to return to finish the job. Many of the windows were left without sealing them properly as many windows had no exterior caulking around them. I voiced my concern that they left without sealing the windows properly during heavy rain and they responded that they didn't have available staff to finish the job and that it was okay if water gets inside the building envelop. They said that their installers would not be available for at least 6 weeks as they were required on a larger job. After a discussion that this was unacceptable they did send an installer to finish the exterior caulking but took them another 2 weeks to remedy most of the other problems. We are still waiting, nearly three months now, for them to replace a deficient window that has a large mark on the inside of the glazing. They applied a small credit for the damage and deficiencies but it didn't come close to the what is cost us in materials (paint) and time off work to remedy all of the issues.

The dining room of our 108-year old Edwardian home has the original stained molding in fir. The large dining room window which included a single pane window with two casement windows on both sides was damaged. Only one casement window opened and the entire unit was beyond repair. We wanted one side, where the window would fit in the interior part of the house, be in fir, and we wanted the other side of the window, which would be exposed to the elements, be in white vinyl. West Coast Windows did a fantastic job; the mill work on this window is fabulous and we were thrilled that the wood used to make this window was old growth. After installation, we stained the interior to match our existing stained molding. We would highly recommend this company for their professionalism and knowledge. The quality of the product was excellent. The price quoted did not differ and the job was done on the date promised. We will be having more work done by this company in the near future and we have already recommended them highly to family and friends.

We replaced seven windows in our now 40 year old house. The old windows were double pane in aluminium frames, and were decent and in satisfactory working order. We wanted the high UV protection and the higher thermal resistant qualities. WCW's products met our objectives and we are happpy with the products. Installation was considerately scheduled: as it was early January when WCW were ready to install. Given the severe cold and snow snap we experienced, the schedule coordinator kindly delayed installation until the weather was more normal - in late February. The actual installation process went smoothly and professionally. However, the crew must have been in a great hurry the second and final day as the plugs (to cover the holes in the frames to secure each replacement window) were hastily installed. None was missed and many were attached with excess adhesive remaining visible - making a contrast that took away the clean look of each window frame. In the follow up voice call from WCW, we mentioned the missing plugs and that the clean up around a few windows were not up to par (or our expectation, as metal filings, bits of metal trim and saw dust from cuttings the wood siding). About a month later, a WCW person showed up, without prior notice, but very politely, and after we pointed out the missing plugs, he installed them most professionally. Overall, we are very happy with the WCW replacement windows. However, to explain this somewhat lengthy evaluation (which was requested), we felt it necessary to give our finicky details to support our review, When we can better afford it, we plan to ask WCW to replace our upper floor original windows.

Our architect recommended a profile look, and a very expensive company to supply the windows, when we chose WestCoast Windows with nearly the identical window, with IMO, better quality for 30% less cost. I could not be happier. I broke one window about 5 years later, and they were able to look up the dimensions on file and reproduce the replacement without a measurement fee. The windows insulate against sound and heat transfer well, and the trim parts have stayed white (no UV yellowing) and like new since installed 7 years ago. High end look. Easy clean inside and out.

We have an arts and crafts house and are renovating/restoring a 1980s dormer addition. The windows in the rest of our house are "1908" style Douglas Fir, which we have stained on the inside. We needed windows to match the style of our other windows, be durable on a high dormer, and have Douglas Fir on the inside. That's what we got. They are fabulous. Staff was great to deal with.

I used West Coast Windows to purchase and install myself a new window for a house remodel. West Coast Windows offered an affordable window, custom designed for the space. And their response time to questions or in need of service was generally fairly quick. I needed changes made as the project shifted and it was easy to get a new quote. I am happy with the window itself and service, although one thing they could have done better is wrap the window in shrink wrap or a light cardboard box for transporting home. The quality of the window is good, but not great, a vinyl window that feels very plastic-y. In hindsight it would have been nice to know more about the product I was buying--I had no idea of the quality up front. Or a sample of the window material. But it was very affordable and WCW were easy to work with.

We looked at 6 different window companies, and found that West Coast Windows had the nicest, clean lines to go with our mid-century home. They were also competitively priced. This is the third time we have used this company to install sliding glass doors. We have been pleased with the quality of their windows and the capable and professional installers that they use. Also, when we had a crisis--had to take the first slider out to get a over-sized fridge into our kitchen, they responded right away. Sent the same installers over--who took the slider out, waited until the fridge guys got the fridge in, and then reinstalled the slider. In the most recent install, they were able to keep the inside frame around our slider so it fit with the décor in the room. And they matched the lock to the previous slider so that we don't need separate keys.

Our home is 28 years old and the aluminium windows installed when we had it built are failing. Condensation is forming between the sealed glass plus the plastic trim on the outside is curling up and falling off. Time for new windows! after considerable research, we selected West Coast Windows as our supplier. We liked the fact that the windows are made with Canadian PVC vinyl and use North American made hardware. The glass is lowE366.We were given a delivery date and they were on time. We have cedar siding, and were concerned how the installation would look With the addition of their vinyl "Brickmold" trim we were able to have the windows installed, tape sealed to the existing vapour barrier, and additional silicone beading applied to ensure a perfect seal. The result is our "replacement" windows look like they were "original construction" Also very important to us from a responsibility point of view, was that the installers are full time W.C.W. employees, not a "contracted" crew. Our installers were conscientious, obliging, polite, fussy, on time and proud of their work. In short, an excellent company with good people and a superior product. Peter Crichton.

West Coast Windows replaced 8 old second story windows for me, many which were originals from 1953, including a large picture window that went from 4 parts to 2 and others that had sliders. The whole team of staff were really helpful, responsive and all worked so professionally that I was surprised by the quality of their teamwork as well as the superb work that they finished in less than 6 hours. The results made a really big improvement to the look and feel of our windows. I had had many double layers of windows, which had been single panes, and the new windows get no condensation, look cleaner overall, and in many cases eliminated unsightly extra vertical lines. There is less noise from outside too. The hardware for the new windows also look and work better. The installers did a few nice little extras that allowed me to repaint the inside window frames and sills, and helped replace some finish details that I had made for the previous pieces. I got lucky in that the original estimate to install got moved up from 6-8 weeks to just about 2 weeks when a day suddenly became available. That meant everything could be finished well before Christmas and before the bad weather struck. There were a few financial incentives that came as I took advantage of an offer that came with their ad that I found in my mail. I went out to their Delta Showroom to see what kind of product they were making and everyone worked so well and without pressure to help me through with alternatives and estimates. Every step of the way I had helpful and quick responses from everyone I met. I do most of my Reno work myself but this is one job I'm really glad I could find professionals to do it for me. Windows are always going to be expensive, so I expected to have to pay a lot, but seeing the results, I'm really glad I had them do it for me. My family love the results. We have had West Coast Windows renovate the existing single-glazed wood-framed windows on approximately three separate occasions. Each time they were thorough, a delight to work with and the work was carried out quickly and efficiently.
