We have been a cornerstone business in our Bay Ridge, Brooklyn neighborhood for over 40 years. For the last 10 years our goal was to be the leading LANDMARK window specialist and I believe we are!
Window We Are, Inc. has over 10,000 windows in stock for contractors or the handy homeowner to pick up and install themselves. We also, offer professional installations throughout Brooklyn, Manhattan, and Staten Island. We have the largest stock of windows in the NYC area. Our own installers installed 9500+ Windows last year and growing!
Our goal is to meet the window needs for all our customers residential or commercial. Not only do we have a large selection in stock, we offer an even larger selection of windows that can be custom-ordered. Ranging from vinyl, aluminum, wood clad and all wood windows.

Great place. Sales personnel are helpful. Tremendous amount of windows in stock, and if you need anything else, they can get it. I have used this place for years, and have never had a bad experience.

I asked Windows We Are if they could make me a custom made window that opened like a door. I needed this new window to be our second means of egress. The company was friendly and professional and new who to call to have this window created. We were pleased with the window. We found this company to be reliable and reputable.

We had Windows We Are replace 5 old window units that were leaking heat like crazy. They came out to get accurate measurements, and even double checked it when we asked them to confirm and after a few weeks of custom fabrication installed the windows in a single day.
They did a clean job and were sure to get all the waterproofing, insulating and finishing details done correctly. The windows are great and we instantly noticed a saving of heat loss the following winter. We are sure to have them come back to replace all our remaining windows.

Following Hurricane Sandy I needed to replace all my basement Windows and basement door. Windows We Are were recommended by our Plumber. Scott came out and gave us a fair estimate to replace the windows and Door, he was very professional and compassionate. When the Windows and door were installed the installers were very neat and professional. After having them install the Windows and door, I hired them to replace all the flashing around all of our main floor and second floor Windows and correct all the insulation of the Windows that a previous contractor installed incorrectly. I am very happy with the work performed by Windows We Are and I recommended them to my brother to replace Windows in his home.

I have personally hired Windows We Are to provide and install over 50 windows including large window walls. The experience has been great. They understand my main concerns and wishes and find solutions that fit my budget.
They carry an array of brands and options that allow you to spend more where it matters to you and save elsewhere. It has been 5 years since the first installation, I have no complaints. Their crew is extremely polite, experienced and careful. Time frame has always been accurate. Installation is very quick and seamless.

We had six windows replaced by Windows We Are. The windows we ordered had good quality and were installed well. We had some other old windows on the backside of the house which needed new caulking and we had paid extra for the job. Two workers were going to leave without doing the job until I asked them whether they had done the caulking. After charging extra for it, They said they ran out of caulking material. Only when I insisted, they went to a nearby hardware store and did the work. Not very sincere or honest to say the least. We would have asked the company to come back to replace several other large windows at later time, but I don't think I will ask them. I would rather do business with people whom you can trust.
