My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

About Us

WMGB Home Improvement was first opened in 1985 with the mission to provide exemplary home remodeling services. Started in Kalamazoo and expanded to Grand Rapids, Lansing, and surrounding areas. WMGB has enjoyed more than 30 years of business and success in commitment to their customers. All of their salesmen and installers are employees, not subcontractors, and all are highly trained. Initially providing residents with glass block basement windows, they've since then included chimney repair, egress window systems and replacement windows, rim joist insulation, duct sealing, and energy improvement solutions to their offered services, and they hope to continue to expand their services in the future.

We had some beautiful glass block windows installed in our 100+ year old home and really brightened the basement up and gave it the security we were looking for. They came out and gave an estimate right away and then got the job done soon there after. Very happy with the service and will use them again!

The problem we encountered is very poor communication. We were told the the install date was scheduled, and no call no show. When I contacted the office she advised me that they needed to come measure again, never calling to make sure the home owner was home. Scheduled install, and we were told they would be at the home owner in the am, the installers arrived on the job at 12pm. The work that was done is very good. The communication from the office to the customer was what we were unhappy with.

West Michigan Glass Block was very helpful in helping fix my basement window problem. Very professional They said what they could do and did it as scheduled. I will use them again, and recommend to my friends.

My basement windows were the old metal frame nasty windows and we were finishing our basement. Hired West Michigan Glass Block to replace those nasty windows with glass block (some had air vents and one had a dryer vent) What a difference, the amount of light they let in is great, no more drafty, ugly basement windows. The salesman that came out originally was polite and very knowledgeable. The installer was great, cleaned up after himself and again very polite. Thank you West Michigan Glass Block, I have recommended you to all my friends and neighbors.
