Mak Sato and his entire crew were fantastic! The ordering process was quick and easy and our windows were installed within 30 days of placing our order. We replaced 16 windows and they were installed in one day. We were very happy with the process and I have already recommended Zen (Mak Sato) to my neighbor who is seeking replacement windows.

This was my first time buying replacement windows and I had a great experience with Mak from Zen Windows. He made the process so easy and I ended up with exactly what I wanted. There was no pressure and no sales pitch and the windows look great. Some of the latches on the windows had a few scratches (from shipping) and Mak came out over a holiday weekend to replace them. We are very pleased with the windows and service from Zen. We were looking to replace the windows on the front of our house due to the beating they have taken from the sun and some of the seals were broken, etc. We had planned to do this in the Spring/Summer time frame but our daughter accidentally broke one of the windows and we had to change our plans. So we got two other price quotes in addition to Zen's and Zen was right in the middle. Mak initially sent us the quote via email based on what we told him and then he followed up with a visit. He was very prompt, courteous and professional. He did not try to pressure us into buying the most expensive windows and gave us a realistic time frame for the windows to come in and be installed. His crew that came to measure our windows were professional and they were the same ones who came back for the installation. Installation went well, the guys did a great job and they cleaned up afterward. Our experience with Zen was very positive and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. Our new windows look great and we plan to use Zen again as we continue to replace the rest of the windows!

The windows in our house had mostly been prone to serious draftiness. For years, we put off installing new windows and, instead, seasonally winterizing the windows with the plastic wrap kit. When I heard of Zen Windows, and their more than reasonable prices, I decided to take a chance and at least get an estimate for them. Speaking to both Mak and Dave, I felt quite comfortable and they seemed trustworthy based on their courteous and respectful attitude. I decided to move forward with installation Following installation, the crew was courteous and quick as lightning. They did not leave a huge a mess behind. Needed to replace a 6' X 6' broken window in our family room. After some frustrating attempts to get it replaced by local contractors, I discovered reviews of Zen Windows on the internet. Zen Windows sounded like an honest, reliable, high-quality vendor. So I contacted Mak to consider their product. The entire experience was just as they describe it. Mak was very responsive, gave me a quote in minutes, estimated the timeframe for producing the custom window, followed-up frequently to update me, worked with me to select an installation date, estimated the time it would be installed and arrived on-time. Dave and Tony installed the window with care and professionalism. They were very pleasant to deal with and left the area spotless. I am very pleased with the quality of the window and the entire experience.

Mak & his team made replacing eight original windows is a 75 year old home easy. Mak responded to my initial inquiry immediately via email. He is available via phone & through his website as well. Mak came to our home to measure the windows to be replaced within 24 hours. Although Mak could easily have upsold a higher-priced window option, he recommended a very affordable alternative. Mak accepted no money until the job was completed to our satisfaction. Mak & his team stayed in contact throughout the entire process. The installers arrived on time & completed installation in less than one day. They were professional, polite, thorough & cleaned up during & after the installation. Mak called after installation to answer any questions & confirm that we were satisfied. The windows looks great. Mak is extremely responsive and offers multiple ways to contact him - phone, email, text, angies list! With all those ways he never missed a beat. I enjoyed that I could just send him pictures via text and he sent me an estimate. The windows look great compared with the junk we previously had. The windows look great inside and outside! They used spray foam, molding and then caulk. On the outside they made a j channel to divert the water. The guys who did the job were very willing to answer my extensive number of questions, as was Mak. Would have been nice to have more drop cloths over the hard wood and down the hallway since one of the old windows was wet and leaked dirt on the floor and carpet. They took the old windows and took all the trash with them. They kindly endured my attempt at coffee (it was snowing when they put in the windows). We will definitely use them again when we get more windows replaced! It has been a two year process researching contractors and window types. We wanted a hi mark window, but the softlite triple pane that we received was highly rated at the same level as the hi mark with the windows forum posters.
