3 Day Blinds

When I called Eileen Toomey for a consultation for window coverings, I was desperate for shade from the afternoon sun, which really bothers me when I have a migraine. My husband and kids were desperate for a better look. I had covered my southwestern facing kitchen window with a patchwork of flattened cardboard, mostly from cereal and cracker boxes. It blocked the sun fairly decently, but wasn't winning my kitchen any design awards. When Eileen walked in the door, I knew she would be the designer I hired, even though my husband had told me to get three quotes. Eileen was like an old friend, but one I just hadn't met. She was kind, professional, and knew exactly what we needed to meet my needs for blocking sunlight, and the needs of my husband and kids for style and design. Eileen helped me select beautiful room darkening roller shades. They completely match our kitchen design, complimenting the window treatments, granite and back splash. They are elegant and functional. When I had a migraine last week, it was so amazing to pull down the beautiful room darkening shades and cook without being stabbed by the late afternoon sun. I can't say enough good things about Eileen. She might work as a designer, and she is an excellent one, but her true calling might just be to spread her light and kindness with everyone she meets. Eileen Toomey was truly a wonderful person to work with. She was well prepared and is a good consultant. It was a pleasure to work together. She made a suggestion about the blind on the patio door and it worked out great! The blinds in the "beach room" are fantastic. Professional yet very easy to talk to! Eileen was absolutely amazing she has a fabulous personality and is incredibly knowledgeable about what will look good in your home. She worked with me for about 2 1/2 hours and made some great suggestions. My blinds were hung yesterday I no longer live in a fishbowl. Eileen is a true professional! She visited our home the day after we moved in and it was clear that I was not ready to make any decisions. I contacted her again after a few weeks and she came over and made terrific recommendations (which I went with) and measured. The window coverings I chose were not what I thought I wanted but are so much better!!!! The installer was also professional, on time and did a great job! We were fortunate that Eileen Toomey responded to a request that we made, to Three Day Blinds, for design help. She spent time looking at our windows, but also looked at our overall design style. We did not know what type of blind we wanted. She had many samples to show us and explained the features of each. She had photos of the types in different home settings to help us decide. Many colors and styles are available to choose from. Eileen made every effort to be sure that we were able to achieve our expectations. The blinds were delivered on time and were expertly installed. Eileen was perfect in helping us choose blinds that worked for our special needs. We needed black out shades for the bedroom as my daughter works 3rd shift and needs to sleep during the day.
