About The Design

Bathroom remodel: I was on a tight budget and designer worked with me to try to keep our project in budget. We did go over my budget due to some missed concept material needs which is an understandable oversight. Also, I would have liked the contractor to have had a little more attention to detail because they had to come back to fix the caulking which cracked by the tub and sink. However I do appreciate them taking the time to do so and also willing to come back to hang my mirrors since they came in late. All in all I am very pleased with the design ideas and the work done. My bathroom looks good now and no longer a sight for sore eyes. I would certianly contact Jan again for my next project.

Jan created a stylish and beautiful half bath for us. She is artistic, resourceful, decisive, and dependable. She was so easy to work with and always went the extra mile. We appreciated the personal attention she gave our project. I highly recommend designsbyjan!

Jan goes out of her way during the entire process to make her customer excited about the project. She made multiple trips to bring tile samples and she meets the contractors in the morning! I also appreciate how she helps with the finishing touches. Jan is engaged from the initial design planning to hanging the artwork on the walls.

I worked with Jan on the 2013 Designers' Show House in Clarkston, MI. I like to think of Jan as an artist because she can take the ordinary and make it look absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Whether that be adding color to a room or adding new drapery, to completely redesigning the layout of a kitchen or bathroom. She brings a touch of charm and elegance to everything she touches!! Love HER style!!!!
