Colorado Shutter Company was able to build a great custom solution and it looks fantastic. I can't say enough about the great experience we had dealing with Colorado Shutter Company. Tony and AJ are truly great people and were awesome to deal with. They were both very professional, courteous and respectful and some of the nicest people I've ever met. We have a new construction home and this was our first experience looking into shutters. Tony is very knowledgeable and helped educate us about what we should look for in a shutter. We really enjoyed working with Tony and having AJ install both shades and shutters. One comment I made to them was how I appreciated how they treat each other. Respectfully! I was impressed with each of them. Now to the shutters. They are custom fit and look amazing. We did the 4 inch and it lets in plenty of light and has great visibility outside. The stain is rich and the shutters look so warm. The blinds are beautiful. No strings to pull, you just push or pull the blind up or down. The fabric is rich and really spruces is the kitchen. Thanks to Tony and Aj. They did a great job. I highly recommend them.

We were so impressed with Tony’s professionalism and attention to detail that we hired him to install custom plantation shutters for literally every window of our former home, including the basement. This amounted to over 25 units in total. We chose real alder wood blinds for the main floor and a laminate option for our walkout basement. Tony worked with us to make sure the units on both floors matched as closely as possible, even applying a custom stain to do so. Upon installation, We learned firsthand that Tony is a perfectionist, going to extra lengths to make sure that everything was absolutely first class. He managed to take existing window openings that weren’t exactly straight and plumb, and provide shutters that worked perfectly within such imperfect spaces. Tony doesn’t just forget about his customers when the job is done. His follow up is also awesome and he was very responsive in helping us when we caused some damage to a couple of the units. He came by and repaired them for us with no hassle at all. All-in-all, we found Tony and his company to be of the highest integrity and workmanship. We believe his shutters added considerably to the resale value of our former home. Now that we are in a new place, we are planning to use Tony once again to provide additional appeal and value to the current property!

Tony and Anthony were so helpful from the first meeting and estimate, to installation, and follow up visit for minor adjustments. The shutters were delivered with a factory error which Tony and Anthony corrected in a timely manner so that we were able to have our shutters installed before Christmas. They are very responsive and I am confident they will be available if we need them for future adjustments. Our shutters are beautiful!

We are more than happy with our new shutters. It gave our rooms a completely different look. We had two large windows and Tony was able to provide a wide shutter that gives us much more light and a smooth, open look to the windows. Tony and Anthony were both very friendly and explained about the different types of shutters and what they could provide. There was no pressure to buy but after seeing the pictures of many of their previous installations, we were sure this was what we wanted. Colorado Shutters are great. Tony showed up at my house the first time, he was very professional, friendly and was not pushy about selling me anything. He obviously has confidence in his product and believes it speaks for itself which I found to be so on delivery of my shutters. They were fast to install, kept everything clean and put everything exactly back where it was. I plan to order another set of shutters and cannot wait for them to be installed!

I seldom give the maximum rating on a review. I guess I am a bit critical and I always look carefully at the goods and services I purchase. If I could give Colorado Shutters more than the maximum rating, I would. Tony came out to our house while it was still in the building process. He gave us expert guidance on the types of products they offered and how they might fit into our new home. A subsequent visit by Matt helped us make our final decisions. Matt helped us select a superior product than we had intended to purchase. This was not an up sale, as we were under no pressure at all to select this product. Matt simply and professionally explained the difference in product and pricing. He pointed out things that we would have never thought of and did not know about, which greatly helped us. When the shutters arrived from the manufacturer, Matt came to our home to install them. We had several problems due to the builder that Matt was able to overcome due to his extensive shutter and window experience. To be clear, these problems were not with the shutters, they were the builder’s issues. Matt personally corrected these issues even though he had no responsibility to do so. He just wanted us to be happy with our shutters. And, we are very happy. We now have a top notch product expertly installed. I could not be happier with Colorado Shutters. Thank you Matt! Most vendors would have just pushed this back on the builder. Matt went above and beyond and did an excellent job. We would have never had the shutters installed in time for Christmas for our guests without Matt’s extra efforts. I am in my 60s and have had many workmen / vendors in various homes. I have never had an experience this good in all those years. Thank you so much!

Tony is great! He is so helpful in every step...from planning to installation. He designed custom shutters for my master bedroom including a pentagon window. The shutters are "blackout" so in addition looking beautifuI I am also getting better sleep. We just moved from Florida to Colorado. We moved into one of those soulless new neighborhoods in a suburb of Parker. The house needed pizzazz and I can’t stand curtains. I’ve always wanted plantation shutters and we bit the bullet and decided to start looking for someone to install them. I found Tony (Colorado Shutters) on Houzz. We chatted a bit before our house was completed and three days after we closed (before we even moved in), Tony came by to see the house. It was like having a designer here. He knew exactly what the house needed – more of a contemporary look. He showed me various options and I just kept going back to his first idea. I was going to get a few competitive rates, but after hearing about the quality and the lifetime warranty (which is deeded with the house and can include anything from our 8 year old ripping off a slat to anything that may just need to be adjusted), I stopped looking elsewhere. So we chose 4 inch slats as not to take away from our wonderful view with a more streamline shutter (less traditional). When it came time for installation, Tony and his associate Matt, worked well into the night and next day. When they found out we were having guests that weekend, they went above and beyond to get it all done. Since each shutter is custom made per Tony’s spec, there is a long waiting period (4-8 weeks), but it is worth every minute of waiting. I hardly remember my house without them and wouldn’t have done it any other way. These shutters are so well made and block out the sun so we don’t need curtains at all. The new swivel sets on two patio doors are unbelievable – another one of Tony’s great suggestions! I hope these few photos do the job justice, but I doubt it (check out the bathroom shutter - half & half so you don't lose privacy - so cool!) Thank you Tony & Matt for helping make my house a home!

We had 4" plantation shutters installed in our living room & they are just perfect. Everything fit & far exceeded our expectations. Our living room now is beautiful and the shutters are so functional. We highly recommend Colorado Shutters. We had new plantation shutters installed in our house by Colorado Shutters. They did a great job and Tony is super nice. We have had them for 6 months, have had no problems, and have loved them since they were installed. They did a custom install in two bay windows that look great. It's hard to find people who pay as much attention to detail as my husband and I, but Tony is very detail oriented and I highly recommend Colorado Shutters.

My husband and I just purchased a new home in April and I called Colorado Shutters to repair a few of my old plantation shutters. Upon fixing my shutters, Matt talked to me about shutters on our second level (we had no window coverings), and I was already planning on having Home Depot put them in. Matt's quote was higher than Home Depot's, but he convinced me the quality would be too. And boy was he right! After he installed them I was pleasantly surprised on how beautiful they were. They added a finishing touch to a house we've put so much work into. I also feel comfortable knowing they're real wood, made in the US and not plastic from China. We will have these shutters for 15-20 years! It's also reassuring to know these guys will be around for a while in case I need a repair from our two kids and dog. I would highly recommend these guys! We are even thinking of redoing the old shutters on our main level.

Tony was fantastic to work with. He took pains to advise us after spending serious time and attention to our needs & budget. His estimates rivalled the discount big box stores. The look was perfect for the space, the materials were the very best and, up until installation, the shutters seemed perfect. OK, I'm pulling your leg. The installation was as perfect as everything else. If we could, we'd give Colorado Shutters a 6 out of 5. That's mathematically impossible so just leave it with our complete satisfaction.

I can't say enough about the work and professionalism that I've experienced while working with Tony!
