Distinctive Designs

We downsized to a condo. Lea came to us (after I had found her website) and in a very professional and personable way helped us through material choices and honored our choice of style. We are thrilled with our new window treatments (5 of them) and are looking forward to having her finish our last window. I hired Distinctive Design to do a very odd job, not for Draperies for Windows, but to create draperies in my basement for Media Room. My room required to have acoustics in place so that drapery can it can absorb sound generated within the room. We met couple of times to go over what is the purpose of this drapery, what material to use for sound absorption etc. Distinctive Design immediate took this up and created for me draperies that were great fit and they did marvelous job in my basement. They even waived me the visit fee to look at the requirements for the project and in 3 weeks time my basement was done and it was the right job we did.

Lea was extremely helpful to my mother who wished to have drapes in her assisted living apartment. She brought very appropriate samples to show her and made suggestions that guided my mother to a decision on the treatment. There is an attractive rod with supports.The rings and fabric look very good with the color scheme of the room. The workmanship is very fine and my mother who used to make drapes and curtains herself is very pleased.

Lea did a great job on the window treatments and pillows in my living room. Her workmanship is beautiful and she was helpful when I had to make decisions about the design of the draperies and the pillow shape. I look forward to working with her in the future, and I would highly recommend her to anyone thinking about adding fabrics to their home.

Lea and her team provided us with excellent service selecting our fabrics and preparing to do our window treatments in our kitchen. She provided valuable suggestions on how to take care of an all-glass door that we preferred to have more private in the evening. Everything was completed in a timely matter and looks amazing!

She even came out on the weekend! The workmanship was excellent. Lea treats you like she would her own family. Her biggest goal is to make you happy. She and her husband (who does the installation) are both courteous, friendly, thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend Lea and would definitely use Distinctive Designs again.

We recently acquired a mid century sofa and two chairs. All three pieces needed back cushions in specific shapes. We heard about Distinctive Designs from a neighbor who absolutely loved the cushions that Lea made for her. Lea came over to the house and helped us with fabric that would be true to our 1960's mid century furniture. Lea took the measurements for the specific shapes back cushions. Several weeks later Lea delivered our cushions and they were exquisite and perfectly executed. We are getting so many compliments. Lea thank you so much.
