I worked with Cathy to accomplish kitchen and sun room valances, tablecloth and chair pads. Cathy is so easy to work with, and listened carefully to me. She was patient and was able to understand what I wanted, and help me when I couldn't even figure out what I wanted!!!!!! The sewing and design of the valances(and other projects) is fabulous-lining, piping, seaming, trim, and installation are all so beautifully done. Of course, then I needed a beautiful round tablecloth in a coordinated fabric. Again, beautiful. Chair pads? Check! Onto the guest bedroom-oh boy! A gorgeous sheer windowpane fabric, lined and interlined. Draperies are beautiful, allowing for filtered light yet they help abate the cold and heat from large windows. She is now going to sew a few more things! My neighbors were all crazy about my finished projects. I highly regard her work and hold her in esteem.

We came home from vacation to find that our dog had destroyed a pen on our wonderful Minotti couch. A white couch with dogs and children -- not easy to keep clean, we know. Each piece of Minotti furniture is a work of art and the fabric has to be imported from Italy -- the new factory cover would have cost what the couch cost a decade ago! A friend recommended we contact Dogwood Designs and Cathy came out to do an estimate. The result is amazing -- a cover that looks better than the original and is somewhat child and dog proof. I would recommend Dogwood Designs to anyone -- the work is top-notch and the craftspersonship is impeccable. For those of you who have mid-century modern tastes -- look no further!

Cathy at Dogwood Designs is both wonderfully professional and extremely talented! I hired Cathy to make draperies for a master bedroom and they were impeccably made and delivered on time. Fortunate to have kitchen window treatments and a queen size tailored bedskirt designed, installed! Excellent job! Dogwood Designs has also covered a small antique wicker chair with chenille and created several throw pillows for us.
