- added an additional remote and changed the programming of the shades because you did not like the sequence. This remote was only a backup for your home automation system in case of power failure.
- returned and removed the second remote, you would not pay for it. Reprogrammed the shades to the original sequence.
- replaced a component that you stated was not current, no questions asked. This same component is in a different system and operating perfectly.
- replaced a motor on a shade that you were having a problem with. This motor checked out to have no problems and is in use.
All above completed with no charge as we do stand behind what we sell.
You do have a five (5) year warranty on the motors. What you do not have is any warranty on batteries. No shade fabricator, motor company or dealer can predict how long batteries will last.
If you are not capable of changing the batteries, I'm sure one of our installers will do this for you, that is what the $75.00 charge is for, his time, knowledge, truck and tools. Pay him directly. You could also set up some type of contract with him for a yearly appointment to change all of the batteries. Fred and Joanne
As far as the samples you did not provide your selection so how could an order be placed. Also your discussion about the uneven construction of your new windows concerned me. I do not believe you will be happy with any choice.
For these reasons I suggested you go elsewhere. We will not take an order if I cannot be sure I can satisfy the client.
