Anne and Steve are a great team. Between them we have upgraded to beautiful shades that suit our needs and make the rooms look so much better than before! The process for in-home consultation and installation was just wonderful. Highly recommend them.

Ferris Blinds and Shutters installed sunblock shades on our screened porch with a western exposure. The shades were the perfect solution to block the sun from both our porch and family room in the late afternoon where the sun exposure made using our porch impossible and our family room unusable for a few hours each days in both summer and winter. Steve Ferris was such a pleasure to work with. He came to our home and measured for, ordered and installed the shades. The wait time between ordering and installation was very reasonable. After installation we were totally satisfied. Everything worked perfectly and looked fantastic. Fast forward a few years and the fabric covering the cassettes where the blinds were stored in the rolled up position started to peel (the fabric coverings started coming off a few of the shades). I looked up Steve’s number and called him. He immediately arranged to come to my house and assess the problem. He called a few weeks later and said that Hunter Douglas would replace ALL of the shades, not just the cassettes. This week Steve competed installation of all my new replacement shades for the entire porch at no charge. That is great customer service. He treated me like my replacement job was just as important as the original. We could not have been more satisfied.

The blinds we bought from Anne & Steve Farris are exemplary. We love our new Sunroom, and are so pleased with the blinds we bought for our new windows.

Anne and Steve are just great people to work with. I used them for window treatments in my Fenwick beach house. Small company, knowledgeable about what they sell, and do the installing themselves. I’ve recommended them to friends and neighbors many times and have used them repeatedly over the years.
