Finishing Touches is an award winning window treatment design and fabrication studio located to Castle Pines, CO. Finishing Touches was awarded the prestigious Grace Awards-2024 Artisian Award of Excellence. For over 25 years, Sheri Stouffer has served homeowners and interior designers creating unique and beautiful window coverings. In addition to soft treatments, Finishing Touches also carries a wide range of hard treatments from Hunter Douglas to Horizon Shades. As a specialized drapery workroom, every detail from fabrication of the treatment to the final installation is handled by Finishing Touches. Sheri is extremely knowledgeable about all the ‘finishing touches’ to make your home comfortable and beautiful. She does the work herself from design to production to installation. Sheri is very price sensitive, always suggesting less expensive options. You never feel over sold. Sheri also worked tirelessly with us for a year on our window treatments always willing to explore different ideas and happy to return time and again with new samples. My husband and I appreciated Sheri’s kindness, generosity and professionalism, often a rare combination. She’s a joy to work with!

Sheri is absolutely amazing. I am a CT based designer and was looking for a workroom in the Denver area. I am so lucky to have found Sheri and Finishing Touches. Not only is she incredibly knowledgeable, but also easy to communicate with. She kept me in the loop and was so helpful in addressing and resolving any issues that arose along the way. Her work product is top notch (she tackled everything from drapery, romans, woven shades, pillow covers and bench cushions). It is an absolute pleasure to work with Sheri! She worked closely with me on choices of fabrics, styles, sizes, hardware choices, and all of the details that go into our beautiful custom window treatments. Sheri came to my home completely prepared with 'lots' of fabric samples and multiple styles and colors of window shades. Once Sheri had a feel for my likes and dislikes, style of my home, obstacles to overcome (and there were many), she immediately ordered lots fabric samples to choose from. Samples came quickly through the mail directly to me. Once choices were made for Hunter Douglas shades for 3 bedrooms and baths, they were ordered and installed within 8 weeks. Final decisions on drapery fabrics and hardware were made for living room, dining room, master bedroom & bath were ordered, fabricated and installed within 8 weeks (before Christmas as I had requested). Sheri's fabrication methods are very detail oriented. She has a passion for her work, is meticulous, and has a determination for the perfect outcome. We have many more windows to address with treatments. Sheri is the only designer and fabricator that I want to work with.

Finishing Touches is phenomenal! The curtains Sheri made for our family room were so well crafted we hired her to come back and make cafe curtains for our kitchen. They are on trend and meticulously crafted. One other side note: her installation crew is just as meticulous as Sheri is.
