Julie Thome Draperies is absolute perfection! Our company received quotes from 30+ vendors for custom fitting room curtains for the Sandro and Maje stores, and not only was Julie by far the most professional, her prices can not be beat. Julie was a joy to work with, paid great attention to detail, and made sure that every aspect of the fabrication was tailored to our exact needs. She was able to order fabric directly from the manufacturer in Denmark, and she was even able to provide hardware to match our designs. We received the curtains in under a week, and they were stunning! Other vendors said the job was impossible to complete on time, or gave us unreasonably high quotes, but Julie took on the challenge and delivered beyond our expectations! Our curtains in the past were made custom in France, but we will now be using Julie for all future store openings! Whether for commercial or residential purposes, Julie will work with you to make sure you get exactly what you want!

Julie and I never met. However we are both members of WCAA – Window Coverings Association of America. Two years ago, Julie contacted me to install some drapes for her client on the Cape Cod. Julie is amazing! I have used her for many projects over the last 8 years and she has always exceeded my expectations. Julie has made numerous pillows for my clients, and the quality is always excellent. She is very detail oriented and happy to make minor adjustments if necessary. I have not used her for draperies, but I have seen the finished product in her workshop, and I can tell they are very well made, stiched by hand - all done in the time honored way.

It was a pleasure to work with Julie. Julie not only made my beautiful drapes, but she guided my decorator with respect to fabric, trimming and hardware choices as well as the design of the drapes. We feel very fortunate to have had Julie Thome complete three separate, custom window treatment projects, as well as one set of seat cushions over the last five years. The quality of her workmanship, ability to work and complete custom orders within a budget, her knowledge and expertise are all evident in the wide range of projects she has worked on. I was most impressed with the time and care she put into our master bedroom window treatments, which were no small task. They turned out absolutely gorgeous, and I am able to provide photographs, if needed. Her experience and professionalism were most evident when we searched for suitable fabrics to fulfill certain criterion, in a room where the wall color, rugs, furniture and bedding were already established. Also very much appreciated, Julie referred me to an outstanding local upholsterer (John Paul Schriever) who refurbished a favorite sofa.
