Suzanne worked with us over a period of 6 months. She is a very talented designer and an amazing person to work with. As an example she would help us hone in on the perfect accent tile for the master bathroom that tied together everything in the room - various tiles, paint color, quartzite vanity top and so forth. A number of people have looked at the result and said "wow"! Her talent resulted in the "wow" factor being replicated in all areas of the addition and remodel. We are very happy with the results.

Our project was a condominium that was being completely refurbished. We chose Suzanne Simon of Lakeshore Design for several reasons. Not only is she talented, she is detail oriented. In my experience, there are two types of designers – the first is very creative, but has no head for keeping within budget, the second is very budget oriented, but has no creativity. It’s rare to find a person who has both those qualities, and Suzanne fit the bill perfectly. In addition, she returns emails and phone calls promptly, takes care of problems in a timely manner and is willing to listen to suggestions. Suzanne walked the property and gave us an estimated budget for the entire project. She was very upfront about where her concerns were in terms of budget and also in her desire to make sure the end product was one she was proud to have her name associated with. The fact that she shared her concerns up front made me trust her more. Many designers promise results within your guidelines, but don’t deliver. She was most definitely the right person for the job and a joy to work with!!

My husband and I used Suzanne Simons for a complete Kitchen/family room remodel in 2014 and absolutely LOVED her. She is incredible talented, was very fair with her time and charges, and helped us make choices that we still are thrilled with today. I would highly recommend her !!!

Sue is the best! We hired her after moving to our current home to help us with a couple miscellaneous design items - paint color, blinds and lamps. In each case she shared her considerable knowledge and opinions, which were really helpful. My husband and I found her to be both friendly and professional, which is a great combination when someone comes to your home to work with you. She was never in a hurry, always had solid reasons for her suggestions, and was just all-around delightful to work with.

I had read a Facebook post about a friend who was thrilled with the design work of Suzanne at Lakeshore Design. She helped my friend with window coverings. I was stumped with how to furnish my living room. We bought new furniture for the room- but we were not happy with the "feel". I contacted Suzanne. She met with me at my home. We talked about how we wanted to use the space and our likes and dislikes. She took photos and came back with three idea boards for the space. WOW - she had me completely figured out on what I loved as far as fabrics, patterns, colors, style, etc. Her top pic for my drapes were amazing. I told her I wanted them ordered immediately. Then her pick for a sectional was just perfect. She also selected three mirrors for the wall and one was my very favorite and still is! Needless to say, we let took all of Suzanne's ideas and also did draperies in the family, eating area and kitchen. We love it all!! Suzanne is a professional, great at what she does, friendly and her team that hangs the drapes and delivers the furniture were top notch too. We couldn't be happier. She is currently helping out neighbors with a family room overhaul.

Susan was the best interior designer ever! Professional, helpful, creative! What an awesome experience! We love our new furniture and would not hesitate in using her again!

I've had the pleasure to work with Suzanne Simon of Lake Shore Design Studio. . One of our recent projects together was a complete remodel of a large master bedroom & bath. Suzanne really listened to what the client wanted and delivered a very elegant, yet cozy and well planed space. You should see the window treatments she had made for them...Wow! they are luxurious. I know the space she transformed far exceeded the clients expectations. They told me many times that they can't get over that this is their bedroom. It's so beautiful! They love to just lay there in their new king size bed and look around at everything Suzanne designed in awe..... She is a true joy to work with and I would highly recommend her to everyone.

Suzanne is talented in that she listens to my needs, makes suggestions and then leaves it up to me to choose from these suggestions. My goodness, our kitchen remodel receives great reviews when people visit us. Thank you, Suzanne, Betty

Susan is easy to work with and does an excellent job of helping you figure out your style. When she works with you it isn't about her design it is about what you want. I would recommend her highly.

Sue is an amazing designer and is beyond easy to deal with. She is a wonderful balance of a professional who knows what looks good and will work within the particular project but is open to suggestions. She has a great sense of style and is very mechanical herself. For example, she hung a large amount of pictures after our extensive remodeling was done. She has high standards for herself and her employees. I trust Sue completely and would hire her again without any hesitation!
