I love my new cellular shades. My in home consultant Beth was extremely helpful to me in making the right choice for my Florida room. She had much patience returning three times with samples offering options I never thought of. Vic, the installer did a great job on my oversized windows. They are just perfect! I highly recommend Lamel designs, they are professional and great to work with. My last Hunter Douglas pleated shades lasted 19 years, hopefully the cellular shade I picked this time lasts equally as long.

I've used LaMel for many projects; the price and date below reflect the most recent project, which was re-stuffing the back cushions of our sofa. More than a year ago, I used them for window shades as well as for some reupholstery in my Brooklyn apartment (these services were larger jobs and therefore more expensive). They've always offered me the best prices by far, particularly for upholstery, and they always sort out delivery and installation arrangements that saved me the maximum! I was very pleased with the quality of both the window shades and the upholstery work. I always thoroughly enjoy speaking with Beth, she is very knowledgeable, offers great ideas and suggestions, and is prompt to respond to emails and return phone calls.
