McNeill Palm

I hired McNeil Palm LLC to fix my Somfy motorized blinds. Their technicians could not figure the problem out even though they are an authorized service center for Somfy Motors. So instead of acknowledging they did not know what the problem was they started guessing at what components needed to be replaced. First, they told me I needed 4 new Somfy motors. Nope, that did not fix it then, they said I needed new circuit boards for the motors. Nope, that wasn't it. I even paid their "preferred electrician" to check the wiring. They did not spot any electrical problems. After 4 months of going back and forth, I finally hired another company that resolved the problem the first time out. I would NEVER recommend McNeil Palm to anyone.

I love working with the McNeil Palm staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable and polite. My encounters are always a pleasure. Their response time is great and the quality of the products are exceptional.

We selected Brenda Hamrick, Designer with McNeill Palm in Shalimar, FL to help us with our new window treatments for our Hwy 30A/Seagrove home. The house is brand new, over 6500 sq ft and has LOTS of windows! Brenda was excellent to work with, very professional, knowledgeable and so nice. With her expertise we ended up with beautiful Hunter-Douglass Silhouette shades and gorgeous linen draperies. Everyone has raved about how lovely and functional they are. Brenda also did an outside drapery for our master deck and a custom shower drapery for our special needs bath. She delivered timely and her price was very competitive. We would highly recommend her. She will help make outfitting your home fast and painless!

My remote control blinds look beautiful. Brenda was very professional and made the whole process quick and simple. She was very helpful in choosing the perfect style,color and design.

Brenda Hamrich was excellent for us. She was always there every time we called her. She worked with us through all our concerns. I am thinking about another condo purchase and she will be the first one I call with our window concerns.

The product choices were varried and we found what we were looking for for the project. Though we were unable to order what we wanted with the proper motorizations, they were able to provide after market remote controls that gave us the same results. The four star rating instead of a five is due to the time delay, it took 2 1/2 months from the date the order was placed until installation. Otherwise, we would rate it a five.

Brenda was unbelievable with her knowledge and expertise with Hunter Blinds. I couldn't have asked for better service. I'd say a 5 star company for sure.

The services I received from McNeill Palm were exceptional. They provided both complete, start to finish services, as well as, a "project" that was midstream & McNeill Palm was able to complete what would otherwise, have been a complete lose. It has been a challenge finding a qualified resource for custom drapes and upholstery work where we live. I was greeted with professional expertise by Brenda Hamrick and knew after a short face to face conversation that she knew her stuff. I didn't have a budget per say so she talked me through some options and I soon realized that a budget would be useful and necessary! LOL! Once we had a plan in place, she measured every window and took a chair (that was to be slip covered) with her. Within a day or two, I received an estimate. After discussing this with my husband, we decided to move forward and paid the deposit. If you haven't ordered custom drapes before, understand that the deposit is significant. We ordered: 1. Custom Drapes (completed start to finish/ material, rods, etc., provided by McNeill Palm) approx. 10' tall triple pleats with lining. I think 12 large panels dining room. The detail fabric across the top is fabulous. Draws the eye upward. 2. Custom Blinds with remote operation. For same living room 3. Custom Roman Shades (partial fabric provided/ Mc Neill Palm had to order add'l fabric) for the Office & Guest Bedroom. Both lined. 4. Custom Drapes for Master Bedroom. (partial fabric was provided and reworked with add'l fabric that had to be added to complete the look. I would not recommend this due to labor) even though this was difficult, they completed it beautifully! These were lined and blackout lining also. 5. Cafe Drapes (for master bath and dressing area) custom made with 3 different fabrics. (Materials ordered & custom fitted to unusual sized windows) 6. Slip covers were made for 4 dining room end chairs and 2 Host/Hostess chairs. She suggested a piping to go around the seams and it added a perfect pop of color. 7. Eight Kidney shaped pillows were made to fit in each chair & a couple for the sofa. 8. As a gift, Brenda made two sets of tassels to go on the Host/Hostess chairs. When the drapes and remote operated blinds were completed and installed I was so pleased. I just stood there in awe and stared! My daughter came home for the holidays and said the house looked great it "felt like home with the window treatments!" There were a few minor adjustments to be made and they returned to complete those in a timely manner. I have referred McNeill Palm to 4 friends. I don't typically do this but in today's fast paced world, I think a job well done, deserves credit! It should be know that I've not received any form of compensation. I'm just so glad to have found Brenda with McNeill Palm Draperies. Thank You, Dale Stackable P.S. I'll try & post photos when I have some techno help!

Brenda with McNeill Palm is the ultimate professional. She worked with my remote designer to create exactly our vision for my dining room windows. She personally oversees installation and is a perfectionist. As a Realtor, I have called upon her to help repair the most complicated automatic shades. She has an in depth knowledge of all types of window treatments. I have also seen her work in new homes where she has designed the most tasteful window coverings. She is able to adapt to any decorating style. Equally important is the fact that she is very trustworthy. I trust her with the keys to my home!
