Next Day Blinds & Shades

Paid a deposit via Zelle as Akim Mena of Next Day Blinds of Hialeah requested and he did not show up to install the blinds I ordered. I waited 2 hours. So far, no reply to my texts or voicemail. I will revise my review if he shows up or refunds my payment. So far my advice is stay away, it seems others have been scammed as well if you check Google and Yelp reviews.

First off i just want to say i rarely EVER do reviews. Not my thing as it takes a lot for me to get to this point. We hired this company to do blinds in our new house. They came and installed them and everything looked great. Two days later, the blind in my daughters playroom just snapped off and fell almost hitting her. Thankfully, it missed her and shes okay. That same day, another big blind for our sliding glass door started falling from one side.. Those neither were bolted to the wall. After examining all the shades, it looks like only a couple of them did they properly finish the mounting. I told the company and they have since been ignoring us and they do not want to come fix the issue. The owner of the company initially said it was our fault and blamed us and said he did it right and we must have unbolted all the blinds ourselves. So basically telling me i unscrewed everything just so i can get him back to screw them in again. This enraged me enough to make this review. We paid a lot of money for these blinds and to be told I'm sabotaging my own home so he doesn't have to take responsibility was it for me. I strongly advise in finding a more professional company.

Be EXTREMELY careful! What a disappointment as this company was recommended to me. Despite the fact that this company couldn’t keep the agreement, they refused to return my deposit.
