Night & Day Window Decor

The blinds don’t cover the windows and they have told me that they are within “specification” so they won’t do anything about it. Even the installer acknowledged it was a bad fit and volunteered to take pictures and coordinate with the store and Hunter Douglas. In response, I have been told I should call Hunter Douglas to try and find a resolution. This is what my $5000 got me.

Very good service. Professional and they understood my needs I felt. Happy with the product! I would employ them again. My only thing which was a little surprising was that after getting fancy Hunter Douglas blinds to reduce light, the product came with a router with a great big LED light coming off it - funny. I was able to mostly ameliorate the issue using black electrical tape. Someone ought to have a chat to Hunter Douglas product management about that.

From the consultation to the installation of replacing some of the blinds in our office, we were more than pleased with the level of service and the final product of Hunter Douglas wood blinds. They fit beautifully and look amazing! Thank you Corinne and staff.

We absolutely love our new Hunter Douglas Pirouette window coverings from Night & Day Decor. They look beautiful in our home and function perfectly in our south exposure primary bedroom and ensuite bath, and east exposure guest bedroom. We also love the convenience and efficiency of the PowerView Automation feature! Working with Corinne during an in-home consultation was a pleasure from beginning to end. In an initial telephone conversation, she determined our vision for the rooms and arrived armed with samples tailored to our preference. She offered excellent advice and suggestions based on our vision, outlined the features and benefits of the PowerView Automation system and identified advantages of the room darkening versus light filtering options. We appreciated her professional, calm and expert demeanour. She quickly inspired confidence and reassurance that we had made an excellent choice, and we have! Our south facing master bedroom has a massive balcony door/window. It's very bright and almost blinding on a sunny day when the curtains are drawn. Since it's a European style tilt and turn door, there aren't many options. Laura, our designer, suggested Hunter Douglas light-filtering Duette shades. They're designed for tilt & turn windows and doors so whenever the door is opened, the shade moves with it. We finally had them installed today and they couldn't be more perfect! Thank you for the great advice, Laura! Also have banded shades installed in our office and guest room. Michael, our installer, was great and did a wonderful job. We highly recommend Night and Day if you need window coverings installed!

I am so happy with the end result with my New automated window coverings throughout my new condo. From the showroom consultation to the in-home design service with Laura and the installation done by Mark ... every detail was looked after. Laura was very professional right from the beginning , she showed me the beautiful Hunter Douglas silhouette and pirouettes samples and explained the benefits and features with the Automated operating system , and understood my vision for my newly decorated space. I wanted everything to be perfect, I was still a few months away from moving in, it was very exciting and I needed to be very sure of the end result. My penthouse has a beautiful panoramic south view of the lake , glass all around and I wanted to be certain that the windows have no obstructions at all , therefore every detail was important, Laura understood my vision and chose the perfect window coverings for my space, we then proceeded to have a second appointment at the showroom with my husband and daughter to finalize the details with the wall paper accent finishes that customized each space, and the furnishings in each room. I am very pleased with the entire experience from start to finish, the excellent professional service to the very knowledgeable team members, the process was seamless and it went very smoothly. The final steps to the check measure and installation done by Mark all handled very professionally. Towards the end of extensive renos in our home in the Beaches, I needed to source new window coverings for the majority of our windows. I prefer to support local businesses and I had heard good things about Night and Day so I went to the showroom on Kingston Road. Jenn helped familiarize me with the features, functions, pros and cons of each of the styles available. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and patient. She set up a home consultation with a designer for a few days later. Laura came to our house which was a construction zone and showed me numerous fabric samples for the blind style I had chosen, in various shades and also degree of opacity. She shared her experiences and recommendation based on the look and functionality I was trying to achieve. She then measured all the windows in question and provided a quote a couple days later. Laura was so great to work with and her suggestions were spot on. We went back and forth a few times on the quote as we included automation on some windows but not all. The owner, Ana, also provided a discount which we greatly appreciated as it allowed us to include a bit more automation and stay in our budget. Our timeline was tight but Night and Day managed to pull it off and our beautiful blinds were installed in time for Christmas when we moved back into our home. Mark, the installer was kind, professional and incredibly fast. He also took the time to set up and fully demo the automation including helping me with trouble-shooting scenarios. We could not be happier with the whole experience – and the windows look stunning! I would not work with anyone else for window covering in the future and recommend Night and Day without reservation.

We have used Night & Day on three occasions over the last 3 years at our office and they have been fantastic every time. From design consult to install, we were happy with every aspect of the project (hence the repeat business). The designer was great in helping us select the right blinds (look & color). Corinne was a superb help in helping me choose the right window treatment in our newly remodeled master bedroom. Delivery was on time and installation perfect. We used their services again for the second bedroom.

I hired the team at Night and Day to consult on blinds for my new house-they were able to send a design consultant to my house to review the styles/colours/swatches in the exact rooms that they were to be produced for-this really helped to see the samples in the right light against the colour of the rooms-I had them install all 3 bedrooms (one is a media room)-3 bathrooms-family room-I also was able to choose some motorized options for convenience in the larger windows-their timing was great, selection good and the installer was excellent-I am very pleased with the end result and would recommend them.
