We're open M - F 9:00AM - 5:00PM and later, by appointment. Santa Barbara Screen and Shade is the premier destination in Santa Barbara County for a wide selection of luxury window coverings. Specializing in custom draperies, shutters, and exterior solar shades, we are also a Hunter Douglas "Gallery" dealer and provide high quality shades and blinds under an excellent warranty. We are pleased to fabricate screens on site, and provide a variety of solar shades and screen doors. Our company has a combined 99 years of experience in the window covering trade ready to serve a spectrum of needs, from high-end homeowner to rental and institutional. We are committed to dedicated service and fair prices. Established in 1965, the business has occupied the same location on De La Vina Street in Santa Barbara since its inception.

Excellent selection of screen/shade options and very easy to work with. Linda was very knowledgeable about what works best where, and had really good suggestions. Installer Doug did a great job very quickly and I love my new shades!!

Such a wonderful company with amazing owners- Kim and Joe! Their company will exceed your expectation for value, ethics, responsibility, and service. Their entire staff is knowledgeable , polite, prompt, and highly skilled. We had them install a beautiful and highly functional retractable screen…. It works like Magic. Jason came to our home, and he had it installed and working perfectly in just over one hour. My wife and I wish we had done this years ago…. It’s so terrific!!!! A++++++++

We just replaced some old blinds in our living room that had been damaged by our puppy. SB Screen and Shade helped me find a replacement shade that brightened our room. There are so many options to chooose from and they were patient and efficient the whole way through. The installation was quick and we love our purchase. Hoping to purchase additional coverings now that we know about our options and know we can count on SB Screen and Shade to supply a high quality product at price that works for our budget. We do not have a grand estate, but they were generous with their time. It was apparent they wanted us to be happy with our blinds. We highly recommend. Support local when you can. It's businesses like these that make our community special.

Remote control shader works perfectly to block light that reflected on our TV. It also looks great.. The motorized apparatus fits handsomely in the window opening.

SB Screen and Shade is just as good as everyone says. They installed 5 retractable screens for us, which we love. Then an issue developed because our cats could get under them and get out. Enter SB S&S with a fix--plexiglass inserts. Working with Kim, Joe, and Doug couldn't have been more satisfying. Their prices are fair, and they model professionalism, good cheer, and imaginative solutions.
