If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the worst company to purchase blinds from. The customer service is rude, combative, unapologetic and unprofessional. They messed up my order first by not including any of the room names. And then did not set the limits on the blinds from the factory. The only way to set limits at home is with their remotes. So I had to purchase remotes from them. Which then were delayed because the first agent “didn’t send them to fulfillment.” Save yourself the headache and go else where. Horrible product and horrible customer service. Received the blinds in February and they still don’t function properly.

I am very pleased with the blinds, the price, the process. I bought four blinds to stop the light from hitting my chairs. They looked so good I bought another matching blind for a window that doesn't get direct light. I called a few times. The staff were all very nice and very helpful. The price was reasonable. The blinds came quickly. What more could I ask?

I ordered three custom Roman shades and they arrived fine. The issue is with customer service. Upon arrival, the instructions say to use a pencil to make a mark through a pre-drilled hole in the mounting bracket/headrail on your trim so you know where to drill holes. The "pre-drilled" holes are really coin slots, not more than a few mm thick. It's enough for the bolt of the bracket to fit through so you can mount it, but it's not wide enough for a standard pencil. I tried a thinner pencil too, that didn't work either. You'd need either a toothpick or a really really skinny pencil to make the marks. So I ended up laying a piece of painters tape on the headrail, making the marks on the tape, then sticking the tape to my window so I knew where to drill. Prior to figuring this out, I called customer service asking for suggestions. They sent me a useless video that showed the guy using a pencil to make marks (that video must have been old, when they used to actually have holes instead of skinny slots in the headrail). It was as if they truly hadn't even listened to my issue. I emailed back saying this didn't resolve my issue, and they responded by sending the same video, again. I was speechless. They asked me for photos and I had already installed the shades at this point, so I just told them their instructions were outdated. Then I asked where I could leave a review on this customer service interaction and they directed me to a link for a Google search results page for "selecblinds google review." It's probably the worst customer service I've experienced besides FedEx. Luckily, I didn't need their help to install the shades, but I feel sorry for anyone who would. Leaving two stars because the shades themselves arrived fine and in the right colors/fabrics/sizes.

Have been a longtime customer of Select Blinds but have not had to deal with their customer service before. I placed orders for a total of five solar shades all in one color - Paper White. Three of the shades arrived in Paper White and two of the shades arrived in another color - Misty Lace. (I know the color because I had a bunch of swatches of their material.)
Tried to get the issue fixed but got the runaround for three solid weeks. They asked for many pictures. No one followed up. Every contact with them seemed to be with a new person who had no information on the previous communications. It was a simple problem with a simple fix but for the entire time they pretended not to understand. Finally just gave up in frustration.
The mission of Select Blinds customer service department is obviously to block customer service issues, not resolve them. Truly awful company.

On August 3rd 2021, I order 4 Designer Elements Light Filtering Roller Shade and 3 Designer Elements Blackout Shades in the amount of $3092.56. The shades were promised to be shipped in 4-5 business days, but I have only received 4 shades so far. When attempting to install the shades I did receive, I noticed that since the window frame is elevated about 1 inch from the wall, the additional width added to the shades also sticks out on each side and does not sit flush against the wall. This defect is the direct result of the company’s measuring instructions for these shades which required a MINIMUM of four inches be added to the width. Furthermore, the manufacturer faulted in workmanship and did not account for the fact that a frame can sit elevated to the wall. The business has refused to remake the shades and ship them due to faulty instructions and workmanship and will not offer refund on unshipped/late shades which I no longer want.

Be aware SelectBlinds did not provided exchange or refund even they make a mistake.
I ordered dark colored blinds. Received light colored blinds that did not match my order at all. To all my claims, SelectBlinds.com replied that I made a wrong order, although the order in the photo indicated the color I ordered.

I ordered two aluminum blinds and within a few months, one of the tilt mechanisms stopped working. They sent me another blind. A few months later the second one did the same thing and they sent me the mechanism WITH NO INSTRUCTIONS! I had to go online to see how to do it and it still did not resolve the issue.

My husband and I just built a custom 3,000 square foot home with lots of windows and French doors. I placed the SelectBlinds order on the first of December, but waited to pull the trigger until the company could send me samples. It took weeks before they finally had samples back in stock. I attribute that to people wanting to freshen up their homes before the holidays which depleted SelectBlind's sample section. Finally they did come back in and I was able to look at several choices and finalize my order. Again, due to a shortage of materials, it took additional weeks to make the blinds and start seeing our order arrive. We've received most of the order piecemeal, and are still waiting on the final two Roman shades. I had a local business come to my home to give me an estimate, and another person who works with Costco also come. The first estimate was over $7,000 and the Costco estimate was over $10,000 for essentially the same materials. SelectBlinds was a little over half of the $7,000 quote. When the blinds finally arrived, I was pleasantly surprised and thrilled (and relieved truthfully) with the quality of the materials. I ordered their Designer Elements Light Filtering Roller Shades in Vintage Diamond and their Designer Elements Blackout Roller Shades. The material looks like linen, and the motorized shades and easy lift shades work beautifully. The Roman shades are Premium Farmhouse Woven Woods - Avery. The sample looks beautiful and I expect that the actual blinds will be as well. I haven't ordered blinds for the French doors because I wasn't sure if I wanted to, but I'm now fairly certain that I will, and I will definitely use SelectBlinds again. Oh, and their customer service is phenomenal - Vanessa was so helpful with one blind we received that was the wrong dimension, and was our error with the measurement. All in all, it was worth all the waiting; I'm so glad I went with this company.

We ordered nine blinds on 12/16 and as of 1/24 have received only one. The are now promising that the rest will ship tomorrow, but many other promised ship dates have already come and gone, so we’ll see. Looking at the Houzz reviews, the good ones are mostly from 2015 and 2016, and the new ones are mostly bad. I told one customer service reps that I felt like I was dealing with a company that was failing. Somewhat surprisingly, she responded, “With all our delays, sometimes it feels that way.”
One the bright side, the quality of the one blind we did receive seems to be excellent. Based on recent reviews though, I do worry about the rest. I have no idea of whether they are failing or not, but for us, the times claimed on the website, by CS reps, and in emails have all been untrue. Beware of long delays and bad info.

As of writing this review today's date is 12/7/20 - I placed my original order on *5/4/20* for a large (71"w X 82"h) lifestyle painted shutter. As of this review I still have not received an undamaged product. This has been in consultation with Matthew Parker who is a manager at Select Blinds.
I. The first shutter was received with visible damage through the shipping box on 7/2/20. It took until 7/21/20 to confirm that the damage would be repaired.
II. On 8/12/20 I received an email saying the repaired shutter was now damaged as being picked up by the freight company and would require a complete remake.
III. The now third attempt at manufacturing this shutter shipped on 11/24/20 - WELL OVER SIX MONTHS after my initial oder. Only to be received DAMAGED AGAIN. Two sections of frame are cracked, and the right shutter panel took a hit on the closing panel lip. This would now require a THIRD remake.
The customer service provided has been horrendous. You can't access a manager directly even if you've been working with them - they will call back in '24 hours' - which they don't.
I regret giving them nearly $5k of my money given the service provided - would have gone elsewhere. Be warned and aware of the way they operate before you order.

I do not recommend this company at all. Blinds are cheaply built and function very poorly on top of that the customer service is very poor. The Ikea blinds I own are much better build and function much better than these. I can't wait to replace them. I have also made the assumption that their reviews in their website are either fake or modified to only allow positive reviews since my bad review is not being posted.
