The absolute best! The scope of work got more complicated with additional requests from me, and they addressed all concerns and issues. Now I have the perfect blinds, exactly as I wanted, and 100% blackout, 100% recommend!!!

I had an awesome experience with Raymond. Service was prompt and responsive and he ensured we were happy throughout the entire process. He even stopped by on installation day to check up on things. The product looks amazing and they were able to beat the estimated lead time by a couple of weeks. The prices were also extremely competitive. Highly recommend Shades by Design and Raymond.

Very disappointed by the unprofessionalism displayed during my design consultation. I live in a condo with floor to ceiling windows throughout and have direct city views with a western exposure. The sunlight in the afternoon is extremely hot and produces an unforgiving glare in my unit which I was trying to alleviate. I scheduled an appointment for a consultant to come to my apartment and explained what I was looking for and provided two pictures of the “look” I wanted, one of which was a project they completed. My expectation was that a consultant would come to my home, we would discuss different options to address my concerns and they would help me select the best materials (fabric type, color, ect.) for the project. What occurred was, a gentleman was sent to my home with no experience designing draperies. When he arrived at my home, we started to discuss the scope of the project and from that point I could see he was lost and had no idea how to answer any of my questions. When I asked him if he was a design consultant he hesitantly replied yes. I then asked are you a drapery design consultant and he responded no not really and then proceeded to try to sell me roller shades. I explained that I was not interested in roller shades and wanted drapes. I was then asked to select some sheers that I like from the samples he brought. I explained I couldn’t make a selection if I didn’t know what the best option was to alleviate the glare and heat in my unit. I asked him what have other customers done. He said he’s never come across those concerns from other customers. I explained that I liked the “AKOYA” project they completed, and he had no clue as to what I was talking about (picture provided at appointment setup). Which tells me he did not prepare for the site visit. He then grabbed one of the sample books and randomly held up sheer samples to my windows and just stared at them. The visit ended with him trying to have an awkward conversation with me while measuring. Based on previous reviews I thought this was going to be a great experience; however, that was not the case. I would not recommend them to preform any services.

Very pleased with the job performed! They even cleaned up before they left. The technicians were Juan and Rainel, they were very professional and did an excellent job. My only complaint would be that they were a bit pricey other than that I would recommend this company!

Shades by Design installed blackout roller shades at my studio on Brickell. I am extremely pleased with the work they did and highly recommend them to whoever is looking for a very professional and competent company.

I have a direct ocean view condo with multiple windows facing an eastern exposure. The sunlight in the morning was extremely hot and unforgiving. Shades By Design solved my problem by installing automated drapes that work flawlessly. I can control the drapes remotely from my phone which is awesome since this is my second home. Shades By Design was professional, courteous, and their workmanship was top notch. I would highly recommend Shades By Design without reservation.

We needed window coverings for our whole house. They provided lots of options, were respectful of our budget. They were very punctual and thorough with the measurements. They hosted us as the job went through production and let us know when we should be ready for installation. On installation day they were again on time (a rarity in So Florida) and completed the install of all windows in a little over an hour.

These people are the greatest. They were recommended by my The Capri's manager, showed up to estimate the job within an hour of my telephone call, and were right on time for the installation appointment. The installers were very efficient and cleaned up their debris. They actually replaced some worn parts without charge in my 10-year-old shades. The owner and receptionist are very friendly and accommodating. I would use them again without hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

Highly recommend Shades By Design. Gil was a pleasure to work with. He took his time to go over the options that would work best for our home. His honesty and patience were much appreciated when making decisions for our project. The installation was perfect and our installers were very professional. My husband and I are extremely happy and will definitely be using Shades By Design for our next project in our home.

I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences I have had with a company in Miami. Great customer service, really nice people, Eric and Juan fabulous installers. I was going to recommend them to my friend but they had already been recommended by someone else. You guys are the best!
