We love our shades from The Shade Store, and I highly recommend them. We worked with Barry in the Winnetka store, and couldn’t have had a more positive experience. The range of products available was excellent, and we loved working with Barry to figure out exactly what would work best in our kitchen. He matched his samples to our paint colors to make sure we had the exact right shades. The quality of the shades (solar shades) is excellent! They look great! Thank you, Barry, for all your help!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about The Shade Store; you can't beat their high quality products and they make the process so enjoyable and stress-free. I bought a roller shade from them for my last home and was really excited to work with them again for our window treatment needs in our new home. Jordan was so great to work with - she helped me choose the right treatment for our kitchen windows and when we landed on blinds, explained each and every option and feature available to me. She was extremely knowledgeable, professional and courteous. As expected, from start to finish the process was very smooth. Jose was at our place within the week to measure and just a few short weeks later he was back to install everything. Jose was excellent, too - very friendly and great at his craft. I'll be looking around my house to see what else I can order...

I moved into my new home in April 2020, right in the middle of the pandemic lockdown. Every room in my house has a wall of windows, and I had no experience in how to pick out shades. I was so happy I chose the Shade Store. Their inhouse designer Karen Tereshkow, answered all my many questions about types of materials, shades, and helped me pick out shades that I absolutely love. The Shade Store team was just such a pleasure to work with. They were prompt in addressing all my issues. Moving and setting up a new house is stressful, and the pandemic added a whole new layer to it. The Shade Store made things so much easier. I highly recommend them. With the lifetime guarantee on my shades and the excellent customer service so far, it is really a no brainer!

LOVE LOVE LOVE my shades. I was expecting them to make a huge difference, but even so they exceeded my expectations. And the instillation team, led by Oscar: A1. Very fast, very precise, very tidy. Even took old shades to the dumpster for me. I get very nervous about installations because I’m a very fussy housekeeper. Oscar made it easy for me. But back to the shades—I don’t think I could be happier. I chose blinds because I live in a condo & I don’t like to sacrifice a lot of visual space to window treatments. As it turns out, my bedroom is bigger than I thought & I may consider adding draperies to the blinds. I wouldn’t think of going to anyone else. Thank you Karen T, and thank you Oscar!

I stopped by The Shade Store to look at some options for a remodel I am doing on my home. I was so impressed by the store. It is beautiful. I love the fact that they have swatches of all their fabrics beautifully organized and I could take as many as I wanted home with me. I worked with Jennifer. She was great and so knowledgeable. She gave me lots of great ideas and her follow up has been amazing! Overall, it has been a great experience and I am very excited to continue working with The Shade Store in the future.

Excellent experience with the Shade Store in Laguna Niguel on my recent order of roller blinds for my kitchen and bonus room. They sent swatches to my home so I could see the various colors and mesh. (Highly recommend visiting the showroom to see the various sun filter %'s in person). Installer came to my home to take measurements. Barbara Eberle, the account manager in La Jolla, provided excellent communicate, and accurately detailed estimate. Finished product looks fabulous. Highly recommend.

From start to finish, Judy H., from the DCOTA location was super knowledgable and attentive, providing swatches and design expertise that surpassed my expectations. From The Shade Store's material selection, ease of ordering and installation, and expert design consultation (Judy!), The Shade Store provides great value and I would not hesitate to work with them again in the future!

I don't post reviews but my husband I had an extraordinary experience at the Shade Store, so I feel the need to share. We visited the store on Montana not knowing exactly what we wanted for our kitchen, but Nancy was super helpful and she has great taste. She found us the perfect roller shades, guided me in measuring my windows, and even answered the phone on her day off when the installer had a question. That's not even the best part... After two weeks of owning our beautiful shades, my daughter managed to spray olive oil all over one of them (if you're wondering how, she filled an oil dispenser bottle to the very top and when she inserted the pourer, the pressure forced the oil up and out and all over the shade). The shade was ruined. I emailed Nancy that evening and, the next day, she contacted customer service for me and reported that they would replace my shade at NO cost. I highly recommend the Shade Store, their quality shades, and their exceptional customer service.
