I am extremely disappointed and urge all customers to look elsewhere. Please read fully ...... customers need to know. Since my Hunter Douglas blinds arrived in April, 2024 I have made it clear in several emails and in person that it was the wrong colour. Lior told me it's what I ordered - so what could I do? About two weeks ago the the second of the forth blind started to swing as the fabric isn't rolling correctly on the internal turning rod. Lior said he'd reach out to Hunter Douglas and I again raised the issue of the fabric. He was supposed to come and repair the blinds, but didn't show up and didn't tell me he wasn't coming. When I messaged to ask when he's coming, he told me he sent my video to HD and is awaiting their reply, again I raised the issue of the colour. I called Hunter Douglas only to find out that Lior submitted my order with the WRONG colour. His order to Hunter Douglas had a different colour from my quote. That was something I did not know and I told Lior that since the error is his, please replace or refund. Last night he sent an email stating he will not do anything to rectify his mistake. This is not over - I will continue to battle this and I will update my post here. Customers need to know. Early signs that I was too foolish not to see: Lior was punctual at our first meeting in my condo, but he was THREE hours late at the second meeting at the store (he kept calling Tanya saying he's almost there and she is kind and the time did pass, but that was my first sign that I did not act on). I received the quote, but no actual invoice only because I DID NOT KNOW Hunter Douglas would be receiving a different order. I did not receive a paid invoice, but I kept record of my e-transfer. One the first install the blinds didn't fit over the baseboards and Lior again manipulated the truth and said I agreed to cut the baseboards - I did not!! But he noticed spots on the fabric and I thought that's more important and I appreciated that he reordered the blinds. This was when I told him to check the fabric and the width of the blinds, but he said HD won't change fabric or measurements - BUT THEY WERE BOTH HIS MISTAKES. I should never have paid, I should have pushed since then. I suggest you all have the measurements on the order and check for yourself - ALL of Lior's measurements need to be in writing. Hunter Douglas customer service has been amazing and I am hopeful that they will help me. I urge you to seek window coverings elsewhere. This has been a horrible ordeal to say the least. I thought that having the evidence would allow it all to be rectified because we all make mistakes, but Lior will not admit to his error and he will not rectify it.
