“I am an engineer by training... I went through the process of getting 3 bids to change my windows. The first step was to get bids from 3 different suppliers for my front window (and the biggest in the house), then after understanding the technical nuances of factors of installed vs not installed R values and such and comparing prices I decide to go with Hansons. This big window counts as three, it as a picture window and two side ones. The first window they delivered was on time, of the right size and the installers did an excellent job on cleaning afterwards, very pleased, financing was a breeze with no issues. Three months later once we "tested" the window I went ahead and do the full house (13 window total). They had a glitch on one of the windows the factory sent the wrong size. The contractor was quick to apologize, installed a temporary window making sure we did not ran into any issues and expedited the process of fixing the mistake. Sometimes you learn more about the company on how they handle their mistakes, is was handled very well, apology, fast fix, and apology. No issues there. I am an engineer by training and so far I have loved our windows, they have been installed for 4 months now and they are really good.”
