Grandeur Cellars

The collaboration between Grandeur Cellars // Grandeur Furnishings and VintageView is rooted in a shared appreciation for refined details and functional elegance. Through their custom Curator’s Vault collection, Grandeur has resolved one of the greatest challenges in luxury residential design: packaging commercial-grade climate control and modern label-forward displays into heirloom-quality furniture. Their cabinetmakers treat millwork, glass reveal joints, and concealed ducting with surgical care, seamlessly embedding our metal hardware so that the bottles appear suspended in light. For homeowners and interior specifiers seeking a self-contained wine cabinet that doubles as an artistic centerpiece, Grandeur’s craftsmanship is truly top-tier.

I recently purchased a custom wine cellar from Grandeur Cellars at the strong recommendation of a good friend of mine. I wanted a built-in look for an oddly shaped space - a challenging design. John and Grandeur absolutely nailed it. The finished product is everything I hoped it would be. I highly recommend John and the team at Grandeur!

Dragon Cellars has been working with Grandeur Cellars for some time. We have found great synergies to have their refrigerated cabinetry expertise and our racking and lighting solutions come together. They are a pleasure to work with and know their market extremely well. We love their designs, workmanship and attention to detail. The combined projects we have done have come out great and the clients are super happy! A professional company worth buying from and working with!

We hired Granduer Cellars/Cru Wine Furnishings when we purchased our home. We had them do a variety of projects that required precise customization, beautiful design and attention to detail. This team was very professional and a delight to work with. The attention to quality of workmanship, eagerness to work with us on design and reliability was beyond compare to any company we worked with during that time. We had multiple projects going at the same time as you might when you first move into a home, but this company goes above & beyond. Very professional, cleaned up after each day, employees were courteous. They completed beautiful climate controlled woodwork in a wine room, gorgeous high end woodwork in a custom designed movie theater and a custom built wall bed in a spare bedroom. Overall, we would highly recommend John Lutz and this company for your project. We never get tired of looking at the beauty that these projects brought to our home.

The cellar is gorgeous! Love it! Beautiful finishes and racking. Door and windows are solid and look fantastic. Now we just have to fill it up!!

I contracted Cru to build a custom-designed conditioned wine cabinet for our home. They were very professional from start to finish. John consulted with me to understand my needs and wishes for wine storage and discussed multiple options, helping me find a solution that fit very well within our desires and budget. Every detail was custom designed. We just finished installation and they did a very nice job. I expected quality construction and I can say that the workmanship and attention to detail surpassed my expectations. They made sure I was 100% satisfied with the end product. They also quoted the job 'all-in' so there were no surprises. Bottom line: I found them to be professional and easy to work with and am very happy with the quality of the product.

John Lutz, owner of Grandeur Cellars, built a wine cellar for me just to the specifications that I desired. The project was completed in October 2014, and the cellar has been performing excellent providing the storage that I wanted for my wine. The cellar is also a beautiful piece of furniture!! Recently, I had a problem with the glass in one of the cellar doors, and John sent one of his best installers (100 miles) to fix the problem. Not only did the installer fix the problem, but he enhanced the glass retention on the doors so well that I am sure that it will definitely improve the performance of the overall cellar. I am completely satisfied with the completed project and the service that I have received from Grandeur Cellars, and I highly recommend them to built you a cellar or any type of cabinetry.

We worked with John Lutz at Grandeur Cellars / Cru Wine Furnishings about four years ago and are thoroughly delighted with the results. John came to our house and evaluated the space we had for a wine cellar, our desired bottle capacity, and design preferences. From that he came up with some design drawings. We reviewed them together, and came up with what we all thought was a fantastic design. One of the features we wanted was sideways display of wine bottles in front, but also easy access to the storage behind. John found just the right design and hardware to create sliding racks that run just inside two of the three doors, giving us the look and easy access we wanted. Our cellar has been running great for four years, and we could not be happier with it.
