My construction company Gores Construction recently collaborated with Sommi Wine Cellars on a residential wine cellar remodel. We had a vision and early renderings of what we were looking for and Vieng took our design and wish list and made it reality. From start to finish the quality and customer service exceeded our expectations. The entire project was completed on time and within budget. My clients couldn't be happier. We hired Sommi Wine Cellars to help design, build and install a custom under-stair cellar in our 1900's farmhouse. Overall, our experience working with Vieng and his team was outstanding. They were collaborative, communicative, professional, covid-compliant and very respectful while working in our home. The entire process couldn't have been better and the end product exceeded our expectations. Vieng did an incredible job ensuring that 1) we were in the loop on every step along the way 2) the bottle capacity would be maximized for the space and 3) every detail within the cellar would integrate seamlessly into the historic aesthetic of the original farmhouse. It was a challenging project and they delivered in spades. Some questions that you might be thinking if you're considering a similar project: How long did the project take from beginning to end? Roughly 3 months. Was this project expensive? Yes, but worth every penny. Did they stay with-in budget? Yes. Were there any unforeseen complications? Luckily no, everything went accordingly to plan. All-in-all - highly recommend.

We had an amazing experience with Sommi working with Vieng. We worked on a custom modern wine cellar that is a combination of hanging cables and custom mahogany that goes perfectly with our 1947 mid-century modern home. The cellar holds over 500 bottles and was a great price for the craftsmanship and quality. It has both single bottle storage as well as bulk storage, the perfect combination for our growing collection! We were able to do a lot of digital work, the Sommi team assembled majority offsite and only took one day to install. HIGHlLY recommend.
