“We first used Rettinger Fireplace to replace the log set in the gas fireplace that came with our house after visiting several other fireplace stores closer to our home in Philadelphia. We were so pleased by their service that we went back to them when we decided to redo the mantel, surround and the entire wall that the fireplace is on in order to create a more elegant look and accommodate a new television and sound system. Again, we found them to be a pleasure to work with, highly professional and the finished product was excellent even though it turned out to be a challenging job due to the location and stone product we chose and what we wanted to do with our AV system. We agreed on a budget and schedule and stuck to it. Were friendly, clean and professional (they cleaned up so well that I could not even tell folks had just been working there when they were done). I would highly recommend them and would use them again in the future.”

“The showroom is set up to show you what can go wrong with certain types of fireplace design. Very educational. We ordered our fireplace around the holidays so there was a delay, but the company was clear and honest about what to expect. (Tip: don't wait until November!) Overall I think prices were good compared to other places that we went to. Our unit was pretty basic, but these guys do a lot of high end projects too. The installation went well and was professional. My only concern which could make this a 4.5 star is that there was a gap on the right side of the unit where the unit met the floor (which is normal with the way houses settle), but they told us that we could fix that by adding caulking, and I felt that that should have been part of the installation process for a "completed" look. Perhaps they did not offer because the unit is unfinished oak, and we planned on staining the wood? Either way, very happy with overall purchase. The fireplace is the my favorite purchase of 2016.”
