John and his team are great people who do exceptional work. They are thorough in explaining their plan for the project and they follow through on what they promised. The quality of their finish work is beyond compare.

John built us a home office/study. It was an excellent experience every step of the way. We appreciated the design details to plan, patience when we were unsure what to do, and LOVE the final result. The room is exactly what we wanted and could not more highly recommend this company.

It takes a skilled eye to gaze at a room or set of rooms and discern where they could be improved. Is the furniture too bulky and need to be replaced by something more becoming? Will new cabinets and shelves add character and charm? Will fresh paint and new shadings, improve the aspect? Will new colors blend with the old, and add more depth and attractive elegance? To successfully make such improvements requires exact and meticulous workmanship to succeed. Trent and John answered all these questions and the improvements they made changed the whole aspect of our kitchen and the adjoining rooms making them better than ever. Both Trent and John are first rate artisans, and I heartily endorse their work.

For quality work and fine design, we're pleased we found the talented, knowledgeable craftsmen at Calumet, Trent Boutz and John Howell. They worked with us from the beginning, blending their expertise and woodworking skills with our ideas and budget. Not only are they patient and attentive to the small details, they are conscientious about the clean up. As a result, we now have an attractive, built-in combination coat rack/storage area for our mud room, and an expanded kitchen/family room that dramatically enhances the comfort of our home.

Calumet Woodworks is building (9) five panel doors for my renovation. The doors are beautiful and help to recreate the look of an old farmhouse. I LOVE THEM ! The quality of the work and more important the professionalism of the owner ( John ) is outstanding.
