Kevin’s work is incredible. He completed two beautiful pieces for me in my first home, a dining room hutch and a built in desk/bookshelf. I hired him again for our second home to crest a mud room cubby and bench, a small built in desk and mail area and a fire place design. Once again, he delivered. His creations are amazing and I can’t picture my forever home without them. I highly recommend custom home finish. The designs are high quality and the installation is done with such care. A true Family business.

Kevin, Glen, and the rest of the Custom Home Finish team did a spectacular job on our project. Kevin was super responsive, got back to me quickly with an estimate, completed the job in the anticipated time frame - even with some add-on scope, and the quality of the team's work was fantastic. We are so happy with our new built-ins and new wainscoting - thanks to Custom Home Finish, our home now has a nice "WOW" factor! Will definitely be calling these guys again!

We just finished two projects with Custom Home Finish and couldn't be happier. While one project - a 6 ft. wall of cubbies was something they were very good at - (their previous projects pictures were a huge help), I was looking to put it in a very specific area of an existing home, and they still made it look beautiful and part of the room. The second project, building out kitchen cabinets and a "home" for the refrigerator was definitely a unique request, and they did such an amazing job making sure the cabinetry matched the existing cabinets and made it look like the pieces have always been there. They are truly skilled carpenters, Kevin, Glen and Joe were all a pleasure to work with. I'm hoping to work with them again on future projects for our home.

We discovered Custom Home Finish on the Houzz website and were impressed by the photos of work they had done. After being further impressed by their professionalism during the estimate, we hired them and it was probably the best choice we have ever made in home improvement! From the creativity in the solutions to the accuracy of their timeline and estimate to the impeccable quality of their work, they are unrivaled. They created exactly what we wanted, did so quickly and professionally and were a delight to work with. Their pricing was extremely competitive. We are now a year out from the project and the entertainment center they built has held up beautifully. A few details- we wanted a built-in entertainment unit in our family room and Kevin and his group came over quickly to design a plan and give an estimate. He was very helpful in guiding the design- both listening to what we were looking for and helping us refine the ideas to a workable solution. His communication throughout the process was excellent. He stuck precisely to the timeline and estimate and the installation was amazing- his crew were efficient, friendly and professional. They did the majority of construction in his shop and came over just to do final assembly. This meant they were only had to be on site for a matter of hours. There was not a spot of dust when they were done! I noted that the photos of the job are already on his site, so we won't repost here. We have recommended them to friends and wouldn't think of using anyone else for finish carpentry.

We worked with a builder who uses Kevin and Glen for interior carpentry work. They do excellent work- the finish is impeccable. They are easy to work with, responsive, friendly and detailed oriented. We highly recommend them.

I hired Custom Home Finish to install built-in bookshelves, a fireplace mantle/surround, and built-in coat closets in a mudroom. I would recommend them again in an instant... I am normally very tough customer and have had my share of bad experiences, but this was a a total homerun for these reasons: > Punctual to all appointments > Prompt with estimates/quotes > Patient with detailed questions from homeowner (me) > Flexible when I threw last minute schedule changes at them > They build most of the stuff offsite, so the total time the home looked like a "construction zone" was less than 3 days. > While they were here installing it, they were pleasant, happy, friendly, etc... it was as though they actually liked their job, which I rarely see in construction these days. > Finally I found the price to be extremely good for the value of the work I received. After searching on Houzz to find a contractor, I hired Custom Home Finish to make custom crown moldings, chair rails, panels and decorative frames around walk ways for my dining room, dinette and kitchen. Not only was I ecstatic through the whole process, but was incredibly impressed at Kevin and Glen's professionalism, speed, and craftsmanship. I would recommend them In a heartbeat to anyone interested, and give an overall 10 out of 10 for start to finish, including communication before, during, and after the project. These guys completely shone through the whole task. Utterly trustworthy to do exactly what was expected of them and much much more. I can't wait to have them over for my next project. I hired Kevin and Glen from custom home finish to design and build all the custom cabinetry for our mudroom. i am a designer by trade and have used kevin on other projects. They are true craftsmen. The cabinets were built off site and were delivered and installed on time. The finish work completed including crown molding, beadboard and stair rails. All were built expertly! They even came back to install knobs, hooks and pulls. They are friendly, personable, and incredibly professional. I would highly recommend them.

We hired Kevin and his colleagues to design and build shelves, mantel and fire wood holders next to and above our family room fire place. Beautiful work and craftsmanship! Delightful to work with! The shelves and mantel came out beautifully, and the price was reasonable. We would hire Kevin again in a minute! Can't go wrong!

We hired Custom Home Finish to replace a fireplace mantel, box in some ugly rough-hewn ceiling beams, and create a built-in desk/bookcase unit as well as an additional floor-to-ceiling bookcase with cabinets. There were some significant challenges - one bookcase had to cover an existing eyesore shelving unit made of beams that was structural and couldn't be ripped out. Kevin and Glen did outstanding work, and we're very, very pleased with the results. They totally transformed our family room. They listened to what we wanted, offered suggestions on how to improve those ideas, and then realized them for us. They did beautiful work, paid very close attention to every detail, were very efficient, cleaned up thoroughly afterwards, and are nice guys to boot. The temperature was in the mid to high 90s, and with no AC in the house, conditions were kind of miserable (sorry about that, guys - got the AC installed now!), but they never complained and remained cheery. Highly recommend!

I have had the privilege of working with Custom Home Finish on a number of projects ranging from basement finishes, home remodeling, and new home construction. The craftsmanship and customer service they provide is second to none. Kevin and Glen do a great job communicating ideas and options, they have always finished each project on time and on budget. Kevin and Glen are great guys. They were very professional and easy to work with. Kevin took the time to answer all of my questions. Our project involved casing 12 openings (both sides), new baseboards, repairing jambs & baseboard, new oak stair nose, and trim a tile floor/bottom step gap. Kevin came up with a creative way to finish it off the gap by using oak scotia to cover the problem area completely. The finished result looks great! Kevin and his team showed up on time, finished the project sooner than expected and did more than expected. His prices were extremely competitive and I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone.
