I have hired Dave for multiple projects including custom built-in cabinetry, custom millwork and exterior privacy screens. On each occasion his work has been top-notch and we have been thrilled with the results. His work ethic, character and attention to detail are exemplary and I would highly recommend him to anyone.

I worked with David and Chandra on a large wall unit for my living room. Right from the initial visit I knew they would be a great fit. I have done many renos and this, by far, was the most smooth. David Jagt Carpenty completely surpassed our expectations with regards to our back deck. Chandra is a fantastic designer who took to heart what we envisioned, and then David made our deck the envy of our neighbours. David was on time, on budget and left the work area clean every single day. I loved coming home every day to see what he had done. We have wanted a new deck since the day we purchased this house and finally, after 16 years, David and Chandra were able to make our back yard dreams comes true! I hired David to install baseboard trim and floating / invisible shelves. He did an excellent job and was a pleasure to work with.

We just moved into a house and hired a number of contractors to deliver our extensive renovation projects - both for inside the house and also for the ‘landscaping’ Our daughter and husband had used David for work on their house and they were very happy with the results. It was a consequence of this association and looking at this work (plus other recommendations) that we engaged David to build a garden shed, a deck from our bedroom, and a very large privacy fence with multiple access gates – these were complex structures that required a lot of interaction and TLC. Not only were we delighted with the results but all these projects were completed within the estimated time-frame and within the estimated budget

A year ago, David built a double-loft bed for our girls' bedroom. When we brought the idea to Dave, he took what we described we wanted and brought it to life. He made up the drawings and brought them to us for approval. He made suggestions that would work well and added great details and finishing touches that made it look even greater. He was more than willing to work within our budget and time frame. Since then, we've had many visitors to our home who have admired his craftsmanship and most comment that they have never seen anything like it. It is truly a "custom" build. We also asked David to build a custom molding around the bay window at the front of our house. We showed him a picture of what we were envisioning. Again, he came up with a design that was just what we wanted and perfectly suited the look that we described to him. He used a newly-developed material that was well-suited to the project. He checked in with us frequently to make sure that we were happy with how it was turning out and took time to explain to us what he was working on and what he planned on doing. We are more than happy with the new look of our exterior and many of our neighbors have commented that they like what we had done. We will definitely be using David Jagt Carpentry again when other projects come up!

We hired David Jagt Carpentry to design and build an entry way built-in for us to have somewhere to hang coats and store items. They met with us and were very attentive to what we needed and were hoping for and came up with a beautiful design that was exactly what we were hoping for. They came in and did the work in a few trips, cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly. The end result is wonderful and we are so happy with it. We have hired David for a few projects around our home and i have recommended him to friends and family. He built a beautiful cedar arbor in our yard and a fence the following year. I have received many compliments about the quality of the workmanship and the lovely design. Most recently, he has modified an armoire that we have had for years which I loved and did not want to get rid of.
