The owner and operator of GFR is an amazingly talented professional! I have an old colonial located in Newton Center. First, he installed an interior door in a bathroom in my basement; then, he inserted a stained glass panel! it is so beautifully crafted. He has a wonderful aesthetic eye and excellent judgement. The piece de resistance, however is the repair and restoration that he did on the garage doors for the garage at my home. He restored the structural integrity of the garage and he maintained the architectural integrity of the garage by restoring, instead of replacing some panels in my garage doors that needed to be replaced. He figured out what the proper wood was that was needed and he managed the job properly and safely. He is AMAZING to work with!!! He charges a fair price for what he delivers and I don't think there is any project that he cannot do. He listens well, he is thoughtful, respectful and he offers up "fabulous" ideas. You will simply LOVE working with him. There are projects that I have wanted to do for years but just had not found the right craftsman to do it. He is a good businessman with excellent management skills and he manages a crew that works safely and efficiently. if you need a good company for your next project, I strongly advise you to use GFR Woodworking . . . you will be pleased with the final result!!!!
