Wes Wirkkala is a consummate professional who began his construction career 30 years ago working for a residential custom home builder in Beverly Hills, Bel Air, Malibu and surrounding cities. Wes was privileged to work on the celebrity homes of Julia Roberts, Tony Danza, Jean Claude Van Damme and many others. In 1999, with his California general contractors license, Wes created Wirkkala Woodworks with attention to detail, focusing on fine custom woodwork, kitchens, baths, libraries, wainscoting, and overseeing residential remodels. Buying and selling several private residences and completing ground up remodels was added to his portfolio. In 2015 he was recruited to Williamsburg Virginia to be a part of the historic renovation of Carters Grove. Jewel Box Homes has been born out of years of experience with brand new construction, renovation of existing homes and finally maticulous restoration of historical property.
