John Shields is a master carpenter and takes extreme pride in what he does , he keeps great communication , and is committed to the completion of the project in a timely manner. John and his team at Pro-Finish are excellent at what they do. From the estimate to the completion of our bannister remodel project, John was professional, dedicated, and attentive to our desires. We could not be happier with our the end product and would highly ecommend John to others.

John has done work for us and both times has been excellent trim work in a timely matter. His pricing is very reasonable and we will be calling him on our next project.

Excellent job on my stair railing remodel! Communication was great during the planning process and John quickly answered questions that came up. We have worked with John and Pro-Finish on multiple jobs at multiple properties. John and his carpenters are always extremely professional in our dealings with them. They show up when they say they will, they ask questions instead of making assumptions, and if they run into an issue, they let us know immediately. Their estimates were always exactly right. John gives us detailed lists of materials ahead of time and has always been extremely willing to work with us if last-minute changes or additions came up. In addition, John has great "vision" and if I'm not certain which way to go on something, John is willing to offer suggestions and they always come out looking amazing. The carpentry work is top-notch and varied. I highly recommend John and Pro-Finish.

We wanted to add something spectacular to our entry. John suggested enclosing the existing columns and adding a crown and base. What a job they did! The craftsmanship of the finished product was wonderful and creates a wow factor when you enter. One important factor for us was communication. There were a couple of slight schedule changes and John kept us informed daily. We'll be using him again in the spring for another project

Had baseboards replaced. Needed to get the job done before painter was scheduled to start. John and his crew got the job done on time. He treated our small job as if it was a large scale job. I highly recommend John and his crew for your job.

Be prepared to be blown away! John Shields is a craftsman of his trade and he cares as much about the project as you do. His work is above none and the entire project went seamlessly from start to finish. Without a doubt, there is only one carpenter I would want in my home. He is pure perfection!

John Shields made three bookcases and a bar for me. They are all beautiful, artistic pieces. It was done on time, and they were a pleasure to have in my home.

John Pro-Finish, I cannot express how extremely pleased I am with not only the workmanship done by Rick, but he worked me in very quickly to meet my deadline, and on top of that came in almost $600 cheaper than his estimate!!! My contract was activated on 10/28/2017, They started the job October 31st and the QUALITY job was completed by the end of the day on November 1st, 2017 , however was not expected to be completed till end of the day on November 2nd, 2017. The additional day saved me an additional $585. I cannot express how exceptionally beautiful the adjustments to the cabinets (by Pro-Finish) that needed to be done (from previous contractor not completing, and honestly not completing well), but the crown molding (by Pro-Finish) was completed better than I could have ever imagined!!! So incredibly beautiful!!! They were all very courteous, respectful, professional, and Pro-Finish's price is exceptionally reasonable for the quality workmanship they provide!!!

PRO_FINISH was amazing! Talk about detail and pride in ones work! The stair rail work has completely updated and enhanced the look of our home! We are so pleased and would use them again!
