Bryan Brown was recommended to us by the contractor that put in our granite. Brown repainted our kitchen cabinets. He took 6 weeks to complete a job that should have taken 1-2 weeks at the most. He did a very poor job with the painting. The paint was uneven and bubbled in many spots and—several months after the work was completed—the paint is peeling and chipping in places. Also, there was cabinet trim that he did not replace. He also kept several of our cabinet drawers and hardware and never returned the items. His work came with a one year “guarantee”, but he never honored this part of the contract for us. In fact, right after he collected his money from us, he shut his old phone and website down. Overall, his work was a very sloppy. I would never recommend this Contractor to anyone.

I hired Bryan last year to build and install bookcases and beams. He took his time, but the end result was beautiful. This year I hired him to rebuild a porch and build cabinet inserts. Stupidly, I prepaid. He promised the porch would be completed in mid-June. It is still not done. He does not return my messages. I stupidly prepaid him. I stand to lose over $4,000.00!!

We hired Bryan to re-finish our kitchen cabinets and build two bookcases. The kitchen cabinets and the bookcases look fantastic! We considered several other companies, but Bryan was by far the best professional for our projects. My wife and I are very pleased with Bryan's workmanship.

We hired Two Rivers Custom Carpentry to install crown molding in our dining room and family room with vaulted ceiling, install stool, apron and casing on windows, install a utility sink in laundry room, install glass shower doors and spray painting the cabinets in the bathrooms and in the living room. Of all the bids we received, Bryan was the most detailed of the work to be performed. Bryan and his crew did a very good job and on schedule. The quality of work is AMAZING! Bryan is a pleasure to work with and highly recommended.

We can't say enough positive about Bryan and the carpentry work he did for us. He responded promptly, listened and understood what we wanted, designed and finished the perfect entertainment center cabinet for our space and returned to install it within the timeframe he promised. The quality of his work is impeccable and his knowledge of and help with the electronics was invaluable to us. Bryan and his team worked with respect and consideration in our home, and we highly recommend him for any carpentry project.

In March 2017 we signed an agreement with Bryan at Two Rivers to renovate our kitchen cabinets. Bryan told us this would be a 3 week job which we wanted complete in May prior to our daughters HS graduation. Per his request we gave him a check for $7500 at contract which he cashed. May came and went...no new kitchen. The summer came and went..with Bryan focusing on other jobs and his vacation, work on our kitchen didn't happen. In August we let Bryan know we would be out of town for 3 weeks and wanted our kitchen completed. He promised it would be done. The project was stated...he painted the inside of our existing cabinets, and did a small modification on a 4 ft section of cabinets. However the job was not complete. In the meantime we had new counter tops and appliances installed. Bryan took our existing cabinet and drawer doors and promised he had ordered new ones and told us they would be installed prior to October 5th. Today is Oct 10th and we have a kitchen with no cabinet doors or drawer fronts. I have sent multiple emails to Bryan and left multiple VM. No response. Our project started in March and now over 6 months later is not complete and no explanation or end in sight. It is very unfortunate to live through this experience. Bryan comes across as a nice guy with good ideas but has not been honest with us or lived up to his commitment. We feel he used our money to complete other projects and left us handing. If I could give a negative star rating I would.

We have used Two Rivers Carpentry for multiple jobs around our house. The quality of work is outstanding. We've been very pleased with all the work. We've had cabinetry done, built-ins, wainscoting, and more. I have many more projects on my wish list for them. Highly recommend.

I showed Bryan a picture of a cabinet that I wanted him to build for an upstairs bathroom. It was built exactly as shown in the picture. It was beautiful and of such good quality. Bryan and his team came to install it which meant they had to relocate the plumbing. Everything was done perfectly. The cabinet makes the bathroom look so beautiful that I can't walk by the room without looking in. They did a great job!

In approximately one week, my vision became a reality that far exceeded expectations. Bryan has completed several projects in our new-to-us house in Williamsburg, including designing/installing a custom master bedroom closet from the floor up, designing/installing a wall of built-in cabinets and bookshelves in a home office, wall-mounting and hiding the wiring of a large tv, and adding shelving and improving lighting in pantry closets. All of these projects have improved our quality of life and eventual resale value of our home. We have two more kitchen updating projects in the works and I have no doubt these will be just as great.

I hired Two Rivers Carpentry to design, construct and install several architectural elements (door casing/framing and transoms)in my home. I'm extremely happy to say that Bryans work exceeded our expectations. As a result of the intial work we added several other projects including custom shelving units for a master bedroom closet. This work also was absolutely impeccable. Bryan along with his team are professional, courteous, neat and timely. In my opinion Bryan has mastered his craft and I am looking forward to working with Two Rivers again in the near future.

Bryan made and installed built in bookshelves into our wall, making our house of inches just a little bit bigger by using the between the wall space and managed to make a very tall and ample 8" deep bookshelf behind the door. I was stunned by how beautiful it was and am kind of sad that it is behind a door and not the focal point of our living room. Bryan was kind, efficient, and shockingly fast. I would highly recommend Two Rivers to all.
