Philip has a flare for melding functionality with aesthetics and handles every step of the project himself from design and construction to hand picking each exquisite piece of wood in its purest, natural form. Where do I start with the review of a true artisan. Philip (With The Trees Design Build) not only remodeled our master bath, but made us the most beautiful wooden king bed frame ever! I am awed whenever I walk into my bedroom. He also gifted us with a truly unique and beautiful Chinese checker set that is truly a work of art. heck out his website for pictures of the amazing work he has done! He is more than worth every penny spent!!!! See pictures below!

Philip Did some carpentry work for us. He made a custom wood board for under the kitchen sink & Adjusted a couple cabinets too. He is definitely worth hiring again.

We added a front porch to our home. The perfect addition was a custom porch swing made by Philip. The swing is sturdy, big enough for two to lounge or for one to nap and daydream. We absolutely love it! We asked Philip to come back for a project in our dining room. Our dining room was drab, to say the least. He painted a lime wash paint on the walls which brightened up the room and added a subtle texture. He then constructed a plate rail around the room which displays some of our art and collectibles. The room is transformed!

I would hire Philip again in a heartbeat for any house project I need to have done. He did a collection of small and medium sized projects on my recently purchased 1940’s house, including renovating a big cabinet/bar piece installed in the kitchen. Not only was his work excellent quality, but he was efficient and set fair prices. He is friendly, professional, and a good communicator. He even was willing to do a couple extra small projects while he was already here. Top notch!

I've worked with Philip on several projects, the biggest being a walnut platform bed frame that's scribed into big rocks. I am so impressed by Philip's creativity and craftsmanship. There is no idea too far-fetched; he is extremely capable of translating an artistic idea into something functional and beautiful -- truly an artist's eye with the skill of a woodworker and the pragmatism of a carpenter. His work is thorough and detail-oriented, and he is professional and communicative.
