We hired Greg to construct some built-ins in 3 rooms of the house. The projects came out great, and we were happy with Greg.

Greg did an incredible job building us a custom fireplace. His craftsmanship is excellent. We showed him a photograph of a style we loved and he duplicated it exactly the way we had intended. He is very friendly and easy to work with.

Woodwise has done several projects in my home and my sons home. Every job has been completed quickly, efficiently and beautifully. He always shows up in time, completes the joband leaves my home spotless. Greg is always conscientious about his work and so very courteous. It is always a pleasure to hire him for any woodworking job. I highly recommend him.

Very Poor Work. I have several issues with the work performed by Greg. First off in hindsight after having to pay another cabinet maker to finish his work to my standards I found out he is extremely overpriced for the quality of work he delivers. He is nice and accommodating in the beginning until he gets the first check and then the service goes out the window. I had to have him come back out after he said he was done because he left off part of the trim and an entire cabinet wasn't even close to level! My biggest problem was he only does the woodwork and leaves you to find a painter. Well I had 3 painters come out to bid the job. All 3 said his work was poor and it made painting very difficult. One painter would not even give a bid, he said it would be too hard to make it look good. The other painters explained that because he used the wrong type of wood and several different kinds of wood it would be very difficult to get a consistent color in the built in. It would soak up several coats and the different woods would look a different color with the same paint. I did find a painter to paint it at a premium price and after 3 days of our life being held hostage with dust (because they had to do so much sanding to make it right) and 3 coats of paint it is finally done. I learned most cabinet makers also paint so they have to do a good job on the wood portion. Other mistakes were he placed a seam that doesn't even match up in the very center of the main shelf of the unit!!! Right on the focal point of the unit! He used screws that were too small and barely held the cabinet doors on and had to be replaced. I would get it if we hired him because he was cheap and you get what you pay for. But he's the opposite, over priced and poor workmanship.

He was thorough and professional during my estimates and he added ideas to my wish list that made incredible sense. What started out as storage benches turned into 7 large projects that transformed my 900 square feet into a custom living space. The entire project, which was completed from start to finish with keen skill and detail, increased my storage space tremendously while adding beauty and value to my home. I was completely satisfied with Greg's work and he is a pleasure to work with. I intend to contact Wood Wise for all my future carpentry needs.
