“I had searched for vintage, old growth oak flooring in my area for over a year. Having found a beautiful home in Glencoe slated for demolition, I removed 800 sq ft of the vintage quarter sawn and rift sawn floors, de-nailed them and brought them home. Then came the search for the installer. I called around and had a classified ad up. Michael from Mysha's Flooring came out to bid on the job. He was professional and full of knowledgable tips for us whether we used his services or not. A great guy. His bid was not the lowest, but we felt confident in his work. So we decided to hire him. He removed the old flooring and installed the reclaimed, quickly and carefully. Always aware of surrounding areas and kept the job site clean and organized. He kept us in the loop on all phases of the job. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Michael. The floors look beautiful and full of character. He is a lovely person and a truly skilled craftsman with high standards. Would highly recommend him.”

“We used Alia's Flooring and Remodeling for interior house painting (walls, ceilings, doors, windows, brick fireplace), new carpeting in four bedrooms, and refinishing of 33 year old hardwood floors in 4 rooms, plus stairs and hallway. Their crews were always professional, knowledgeable, skilled and hard working. They came as promised, and cleaned up prior to leaving. I am so happy I chose them, and so pleased with my new finished look! A special shout out to Carlos and the hardwood floor refinishing crew. They did an amazing job on our very heavily used floors, replacing boards where needed, and made it look seamless. I could not have imagined a more spectacular transformation! “NW Flooring are true craftsman, they did an amazing job refinishing some very beat up oak hardwoods, had to replace several boards and also put in base shoe trim to finish it all off. They also installed new stair treads and they look incredible. Very fast work and reasonable pricing. Volodymyr and his family are a great small business to hire and they do all the work themselves with enormous pride and hard work. Thanks for making our old home look like new again.”
