Let's collaborate on creating the space you truly love! If you're feeling overwhelmed with the idea of decorating, updating or redesigning a space in your home or office - don't worry! I will lead you through the design process collaboratively. With over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial design, I assist my clients in all aspects of decorating.

There are many things that are important to me. They are simple, yet important aspects of my commitment. First, I listen. Second, I design what is not only pleasing to your eye but is also fully functional. Third, I maintain on-going communication through every step of the process. And fourth, my fees are affordable.

No project is too small. I believe that decorating is within the reach of every budget. I look forward to assisting you in creating the space you truly love.

This bedroom offers an uplifting sanctuary for the home owners. The soft green walls, in the bed alcove, work beautifully with the remaining walls painted in yellow. The comfortable seating area is a great place to relax. The round rug was selected to off-set the many angular pieces in the room.

Dark wood and leather furnishings and soft green walls are a lovely background to the red and orange bedding. The lucite lamps and scenic art add a lovely touch.

This eclectic master bedroom "mixes it up". A custom built wood canopy with soft drapery panels at the foot of the bed and a traditional valance on the wall makes for an interesting mix. The oversized crown molding is done in a faux finish which picks up on the fabric used on the valance and lower area of the drapery panels.

The custom bookcase in the eclectic bedroom displays a collection of accessories. The wood bookcase compliments the wood on the bed canopy. Oversized crown molding is painted in a faux finish which compliments the trim on the draperies.

Two toned drapery window panels act as a "frame" for the bed. Wall sconces and 3 small painted wood panels compliment the furniture and the terra-cotta wall color. To brighten up the bedroom, the bedding, lamp shades and an area rug in white were selected.

Opposite the bed is a seating area with a kiva fireplace in a diamond paint finish. The off white and red area rug compliment the kiva fireplace.

The arts and crafts style furnishings from "Simply Amish" is the 'star' in this master bedroom. A metal sculpture wall hanging from Pier1 adds an extra element to this inviting bedroom.

Using the existing bedroom furnishings, this bedroom was updated with a custom headboard (with brass nailhead) and base. Painting the walls in a medium green, adding new lamps and a sunburst accessory above the bed completed the new look.

"Simplify" - that was the client's request. Before purchasing the ebony headboard and night table, the carpeting was removed and laminate flooring was put in it's place. To carry out the southwest theme, a large area rug and navajo woven baskets were added. To "eliminate" the awkward placement of the window above the bed, a framed stained glass window was customized - creating ...More

The stained glass window, placed in the small window above the bed, was custom designed. Clear glass was used in the center and the perimeter to bring a small amount of light into the room.

New draperies, bedding and an area rug on the new wood flooring worked well with the existing bedroom furniture.

Lisa Samuels designed the two-tone modern headboard and night stands. Lucite lamps were selected as to not take away from the furnishings and the impressive work of art by Angus McPherson.
