Let's collaborate on creating the space you truly love! If you're feeling overwhelmed with the idea of decorating, updating or redesigning a space in your home or office - don't worry! I will lead you through the design process collaboratively. With over 30 years of experience in residential and commercial design, I assist my clients in all aspects of decorating.

There are many things that are important to me. They are simple, yet important aspects of my commitment. First, I listen. Second, I design what is not only pleasing to your eye but is also fully functional. Third, I maintain on-going communication through every step of the process. And fourth, my fees are affordable.

No project is too small. I believe that decorating is within the reach of every budget. I look forward to assisting you in creating the space you truly love.

The goal for this kitchen was to make it interesting - not the "run of the mill". To accomplish this, two finishes are used - white for the upper and black for the lower cabinets. In addition, an interesting configuration for the glass doors were select. A black backsplash was put in place to compliment the lower cabinets and highlight the light colored granite counter. The wood cabinetry and the oak flooring lend a warm feeling to this large kitchen. Accessories on top of the cabinetry added interesting touches and broke up the mostly wood kitchen. A faux finish on the custom range hood brought color into the area.

A total renovation was done. To add interest, three different finishes are used. The upper cabinets are in a light wood tone with vertical graining, the lower cabinetry was done in black. Charcoal granite tops the island and off white quarts is used on the remaining counters.

The pantry cabinetry was designed to accommodate all that would be needed in the kitchen. The doors are etched in a pattern to "replicate" - in a contemporary way - french doors. The addition of the white finish on the island and the pantry adds an extra element to the room and breaks up the light wood and black finishes on the other cabinetry.

All of the previous cabinetry was removed and replaced with new maple cabinets. The tile flooring was replaced with the same oak flooring that is in the adjoining dining room. The kitchen ceiling is 8' high, so by bringing the cabinetry up to the ceiling, the room appears larger. Raindrop glass was placed in the cabinetry and 18" x 18" tile was used on the backsplash. Since the...More

The tile mural was custom made to replicate a specific street in Spain where the client lived and has wonderful memories. The original photo of the street was found on the internet and color adjustments were made to enhance the original photo.

In reconfiguring the kitchen, an island with a cook top and seating was added. The island has cabinetry on both sides. The new cabinets go to the ceiling; deep drawers were used in lieu of cabinets.

After the soffit was removed, custom cabinetry, soaring to the ceiling was installed. In lieu of having a cabinet above the window, a range hood was installed and glass tile was placed from the counter to the ceiling. The remainder of the backsplash has grey tile with a strip of the glass tile running through it. For the cabinetry to the left of the window, a shorter cabinet is...More

The existing cabinetry was refinished in a cherry finish. The range top and cabinetry below was removed to accommodate a Wolf 6 burner range. The granite backsplash was retained, however, a more decorative backsplash was designed to go behind the stove. The new backsplash was placed (glued) over the existing stone.
