Overlook

This large corner lot features a beautiful Portland craftsman home on what was an overgrown and under-utilized property. The landscape design developed was consummate Northwest -- marrying the traditional with the modern, across-the-board.

Hardscape features include concrete and basalt retaining walls, a rain garden for storm-water management, ipe deck and fencing, and a fire pit. The urban garden area includes bee boxes, a small greenhouse and a large vegetable garden space.

The diverse and exotic plant palette throughout the property employs a wide array of specimens, from northwest natives to hardy tropicals, including rare Eucalyptus trees, Cotinus 'Golden Spirit', Fatsia 'Spiderweb,' tree peonies, Trillium sessile and a field of dahlias.
