Whalton House

This concrete-frame house is located in the Casa Marina district in Key West. The existing 1970s ranch-style structure was completely gutted and renovated. A separate master bedroom wing with porch is located to the east and a guest house to the west, both now opening to the pool and rear gardens. A new dining room, renovated kitchen, and new outdoor kitchen/dining area are along the north side of the pool. New expansive openings with french doors have dramatically transformed the previously dark and somber interiors. A new entry, covered porch areas, and double carport were also added.
