Staging as the piece de resistance

This home was a flip house and once the investors finished, I was contacted to stage their vacant property. I wanted stay in a soft gray palette, following the wall color scheme. Crisp white and green were the main accent colors which cultivated the serene contemporary feel throughout the home.

This is a versatile open space. If the homeowner had a large dining table it actually could be positioned in front of the fireplace and the seating ensemble would move to the bay window.

Traditionally a hanging light is usually installed in this area. Yet, by choosing a flush mount or semi-flush mount light, the furniture arrangement doesn't have to be concerned about centering it with hanging light and can be anywhere in the bay window area.

These niches can be difficult to accessorize. A single large item, like vase with a floral arrangement is a simple solution. However, a collection of items is more interesting but can be more challenging to select a cohesive grouping. Think about telling a story with the ensemble.
