Northwest Classic Traditional -Portland
This home had outdated oak cabinets, a small island had a cooktop and cramped clearances. An unused desk had to go, as did the 4 x 4" ceramic tiles covering the countertops! A new, functional layout was vital. A six burner professional range was located on a wall with proper ventilation and the sink cabinet was moved out of the corner replaced with a lazy-susan. Wall ovens were moved out of a doorway. Ceiling height wall cabinets and base cabinets with wide, deep drawers provided functional storage. Tall cabinets were fitted with full-extension pull-outs and the desk area became a lovely entertainment bar.
