North York Condo Kitchen

This uptown condo's kitchen needed an overhaul. It was dark and not very functional. The home owners wanted a fresh modern feel, while making it more functional. The corner cabinets were basically unusable and working in a corner is also not very functional. What we ended up with is a fresh, modern, bright and functional space.

The layout of this kitchen was changed to a galley kitchen taking away the not very functional corners and adding more usable counter top space and usable drawer space. Even though the kitchen is the same size it feels much bigger and is more functional.

Even though they went with a full size stove, there is still room for drawers and counter space on either side of it, keeping it very functional.

By selecting a fridge that was taller and not as wide utilizes the available space much better.

Making good use of the front hall closet. Removing a partitioning wall, putting in extra shelving for storage and proper storage for shoes and coats maximizes the usable space.
