The cultured marble tub surround was removed and an accessible paneled surround was made. The tub spout was changed, wallpaper removed, walls painted and carpet removed with ceramic tile installed.

How to make an impact without a huge investment...remove the wall paper, carpet and fixtures. The double vanity was low and either needed to be replace or raised to today's vanity height. (34"-36").

The solution to raise the vanity height was to remove the cultured marble top and built a 8" rectangular plywood frame. It was attached to the top of the vanity, painted and the double sink top. In addition the single mirror was removed and replaced with 2 framed mirrors. Changed the faucets and cabinet knobs.
