Raponda Pavilion

Skiing at Mt. Snow in the winter and boating on the lake all summer. This project is perched on the top of a very steep easterly hillside overlooking the lake and backed up to a preserved forest filled with miles of hiking trails. The existing house is very traditional in nature and takes only limited advantage of the forest and lake vistas. The proposed renovation is intended to change that dramatically. The pathway to the lake is particularly steep and the clients have requested a lakeside pavilion at the water’s edge as a place to relax, fish, swim, prepare food, roast marshmallows in the fire pit and ice skate in the winter. We are very enthusiastic about the construction of the lakefront pavilion in the summer of 2012 and the start of the renovation to the main house in the spring of 2013.
